Super place to stay. We have stayed many places near by in Sarasota, Lido Beach and LB. this by far was the best. Small cottages which were so quaint you get to know your neighbors. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and would stay longer next time on LB. bring bikes great place to ride.

Betty and I stayed here with some friends for their birthday weekend. It was a typical becah house feeling. There was plenty of room for people to sleep and hang out. The best part in my opinion is that they are a short walk down from the beach which is great for the day or a night time swim. The owner was courteous and they even had charcoal grills ready for each cottage. A really nice stay indeed.

Disappointing — nice location but run down. Management doesn’t care as the towels were soiled and stained. Dust balls under the bed. The grout in the bathroom was black. Toilet wasn’t working either. My child was sleeping in the adjacent room and we were appalled with the stained worn blanket in the closet with holes. We checked out the next day. Skip this place. It’s a shame, just new management and TLC would make this place a charm. We won’t be coming back.

We have stayed here 4 times – so you know we like it. Charming Old Florida cottages right on the beach. For lovers of 50’s type places – not for those who yearn for luxury. But if your idea of a great vacation is waling or swimming on quiet miles long soft sand beaches, simple comfortable and clean accomodations, a fire pit, close to but not in a busy interesing area – Rolling Waves is for you.

Boy oh boy… this makes me happy to be old. My love and I used to stay here for $ 55 a nite. Crystal clear water, pelicans, an outside shower to de-sand ones feet… Has the cost of living risen so high that these increased rates are necessary? I guess so since they boast of renovations… This is truly a benefit of getting older: I can remember when quality and affordability were aligned.
