D-Barn Reception Hall

I officiated a wedding here and was totally impressed with the location, the super unique facility and the owner.

We just utilized this facility last night for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The building is gorgeous, it has been renovated to really showcase its true beauty. We looked at a few other venues and this one was just perfect for everything we needed. It set up amazingly for both the wedding and the reception and by just moving the tables once the food was done being served, we had a nice spot for a dance floor. There were outlets all throughout the building (which was not an issue for us but some people may want to know) and they have several really cool pieces that are available for use while you are there (a bar and a metal «trough», among the regular tables and chairs, and an adorable heart table which was perfect for our own tiny wedding area. We had well over 100 people and there was room to spare, so I thought it was perfect for large groups. The owners were a dream to work with, Kim allowed me to visit several times to calm my fears about the space we had and how we wanted to set up. They also gave us a to scale layout that I used to figure out how we wanted everything. I also thought it was incredibly affordable. We looked at another facility that was actually closer to home but it was far more expensive and almost exclusively outside, which is not always an option in September in Colorado. I would encourage people to definitely give this place a look if they are planning any large event. You will not regret it!!!

Really nice venue for weddings and social gatherings. Accessibility is, for me, limited — but that may be a large draw for many people looking to have an event outside the city.

This is a classic barn renovated to serve as a wonderful Western-​themed meeting hall. The J&R band (
) played for a wedding here two weeks ago. The owners & the client were accommodating (space & power needs).
Great little place with a cool history & supportive staff.
