I was looking for a coworking space close to Hygiene, where I was staying, so I could finish up my grad school apps. Boulder has decent options but it’s a long drive away and I know they can get busy. Cue Launch Longmont. I sent a query about getting a basic membership and received a quick response from Jennifer for a tour. At that time they were at the beginning stage of a major renovation/build out, and she shared the blueprints for the expansion as well as the current options available. At the time of my membership the space was kitted out with all your basic office needs. After the expansion they will have all the coworking bells and whistles. All I needed was a desk and a good internet connection, but there are also dedicated desks and private spaces with videoconferencing. Everyone here is remarkably respectful with regard to noise, and the environment is ideal for distraction-free work. I got all my pre-work done, and I was able to book the videoconference room for my skype interview. I ended up getting into my top program, so I unfortunately had to cancel my membership when I moved. Again, this was an easy and friendly process. If I ever move back to Longmont I will definitely renew my membership here.
