Longmont Daily Times-Call

This small-​minded newspaper quit providing their own classified advertisements. If you go to Times Call online now, and tap on their ‘classified’ section, some dumb thing called ‘Front Range Classifieds’ comes up. THEY USED to have their own local-​specific classifieds. Worst of all, the dumb ‘Front Range Classifieds’ ASSUMES that I want to buy a car (I don’t), and they don’t even have their ads in a list by category. The entire newspaper is lousy and getting worse.
Stay away from this one.

This daily newspaper is fine to get your basic coverage on national and state wide events. However calling the newspaper ‘fair and balanced’ would be going a bit too far. Opinions from the opinion column sometimes spill out to other parts of the paper. The articles too have a more obvious bias than your typical newspaper which shows the shabbiness of some of the newspapers writers. I have seen very small town newspaper writers write better than this. Sometimes this gets pointed out in the opinion page but the over all tone of the paper and its customers seems to go the other way. Probably my favorite parts of the paper are the arts and comic sections. The Longmont Ledger seems to balance it out more or less for the town of Longmont and that paper is free.
