My husband & I landed late into CO and we’re looking for a pub to grab a bite to eat… We got here just as the kitchen had closed, but one of the awesome employees offered us some chips/salsa and their chili still. Which by the way was delicious! We loved this pub– it felt like the bar on «cheers» where you come in and everyone knows your name and everyone who works here is SO friendly! & of course great beer!

The best of Longmont, hands down. Great food, great beer selection(especially during Stout Month-Feb), easy atmosphere and fun décor. It can be a little loud, but that just means one loud table doesn’t ruin the ambiance. Also good for kids! Portions are hugeOmongeous, so be prepared. Oh!(Watch me, watch me) you can get taster of any pour, so don’t hesitate to ask for samples. Crumbs make loaves, enough samples make a free beer. Last this, sit at the bar. The organizes chaos is awesome.

Longs Peak is a great local stop for a beer and a bite to eat. The draft list is filled with lots of beers that they brew themselves(and are exceptionally well-priced during happy hour), and I’ve been quite impressed by everything I’ve tried. Their wings are phenomenal, and their customer service is excellent. As others have noted, it is cash only. However, they have an ATM at the restaurant, and there’s a Wells Fargo right around the corner.

Fantastic, like the rest of the Mountain Sun family! We stopped in for lunch and had an amazing time! They are similar with the décor, the vibe & the menu. They have the same tasty beer options and the same cash only policy. The service was fantastic, one employee had the best laugh & I keep smiling thinking about it. I also really enjoyed the crab cake sandwich I ordered. Yummo! There are a lot of events advertised there, so it seems to have a lot going on too. It is a lovely addition to Longmont and I look forward to returning.

By far the best beer in CO. Awesome and consistent food. Not as hectic as the boulder locations. Couldn’t be happier. So glad you’re in Longmont. Thanks for the free fries!

Mind NOT blown. Two-and-a-half stars is more accurate. I want to like this place more. We live a block away, and enjoy a good patio session often. So, we’ve been here 10 times, at least. And, after all of that, i can say with certainty that this place is perfectly forgettable. They have a patio, but its comprised of uncomfortable picnic benches only. But, in the big picture its alright. The menu has many delicious sounding items, but consistently underwhelm. Overall even thats alright, too. The strong point of this Tap House is the beer selection. Great craft brews if you’re into that type o thing. — Go figure. Extra points for the dope concert posters on the wall.

Longmont is finally all grown up. The food is outstanding and the Service as a team means a lot of attention. I had the Black and Blue Burger with fries and everything was delicious. We will be back for sure. So happy to see all these wonderful new restaurants coming to Longmont.

Don’t take credit cards!!! C’Mon guys this is 2015, get it together… Add this to the snooty and less than helpful service. No thanks, there are plenty of great places in town

We went one night for dinner. Very hip and bar scene in downtown Longmont. They DON’T take credit cards, so bring cash or use the ATM inside. Absolutely busy on the night we visited, so business is GOOD. Food was typical bar fare. They do have specials, so check. Outdoor seating is large with picnic tables and good for large groups.

So I have to say I really do love this place… It has a chill ambiance, HAPPYHOUR from 4 — 6, great tasting beers and awesome staff(well except for one guy whom I felt was a little homophobic due to the fact that he continuously ignored my gf and I while consistently checking on the people in front and behind of us). They are CASH only so come prepared… if you don’t, not to worry they have an ATM machine or they have this thing where they will mail you the bill and then you can send in your payment later! My favorite FOOD item to get is the blackened chicken quesadilla… it just never gets old! I haven’t really had anything else… oh and favorite BEER is the raspberry wheat :) I definitely recommend this place!

Amazing wings and fries! Fun atmosphere and great food everything thing we’ve had has been wonderful! Just wish they brewed on sight to fill growlers and wished they had the root beer like the Southern Sun location.

I LOVE this place! The beers are awesome, the food is delicious, and this is a VERY family-friendly restaurant. Terrific outside patio with multiple picnic tables — other customers are even friendly enough to share their tables. Cornhole on the opposite side of the patio(even my 1 year old likes throwing beanbags). Around Christmas, they actually brought in a Santa Claus for the kids to visit. Beer + Happy kids = Happy Daddy :)

Great fish-&-Chips, and super beer. The people are sociable and friendly, and the atmosphere is Work-lunch and family friendly. It is a smaller, more personal version of the larger Pump-House, and with better food & service — bring cash. It feels like a younger, more energetic crowd than other beer & burgers, with a little more of the Boulder/Lyons feel to it. I like it enough that I’m working my way through the menu and haven’t been to any other burger place in weeks.

Seldom do I deviate from the Always– yummy burger, but I treated myself to some terrific ribs on the all-you-can-eat St Louis ribs on Thursday night and was not disappointed!

OMGAWD. Burgers. I mean yes, beer. But the burgers. Heaven in your mouth. We went for a stroll in downtown Longmont late on a Saturday night and instead of our usual burger and beer joint(The Pumphouse) we decided to try the new spot in town — and conveniently, right down the street. We were seated right away. They have an interesting«whoever is nearest to the table» server style — pretty sure 5 different servers came by our table to take our order/fill our glasses/drop off the bill, etc. But it works because we were well tended to. Now for the good stuff — BURGERSANDBEER. Both of the beers we got were pretty good. It’s been a while so I don’t remember exactly which beers we ordered. Knowing my guy, it was whatever was on rotation for the stout. The burgers we got were the Bison Burger which was really good… but if you get one thing at Long’s Peak Pub & Taphouse is the DATENIGHTBURGER. Beef. Roasted poblano peppers. Hickory smoked bacon. Goat cheese. Date purée. Sounds like a lot, I know. It’s phenomenal.

We finally returned to Long’s Peak after a lengthy hiatus. I’m glad we returned. Service was spot on, our server(and his assistant) were attentive and helpful, especially with beer selections. Our food was great. Long’s Peak has the best fries in Longmont. I’ve stopped eating French fries, pretty much, but made an exception last night. The bison burger was great. it’s easy for bison to be dry, but this was perfect. We greatly enjoyed our visit and will return in short order. I’m glad they’ve worked the kinks out(inevitable for any new restaurant) and are operating at a higher level than a few months ago.

Margaritas were strong and the chicken wings were tasty… that’s a win in my book.

So impressed with this place. Their service from when you walk in is great. We even got to sample a guest tap that they had while we waited and they even set out an order of fries for us to enjoy while we waited. We didn’t order any of their in-house made beer because we were going to Left Hand just down the street right after. But I got the Bison Burger and it was great. They use all organic ingredients and you can taste the freshness. Just a note, they do not accept cards. Just cash and local checks. Plus is, they have a ATM in house for those that don’t care cash(like me). Will definitely be back if we’re in the area.

If you have ever been to the Mountain Sun in Boulder, the Southern Sun in South Boulder, or Vine Street Pub in Denver, then you know precisely what you are going to get when you walk in the doors of the Longs Peak Pub. For those who haven’t, what you get is an old school Boulder-esque beer-loving restaurant that will serve you what I consider hippie pub food. They are not reinventing the wheel, but they serve a pretty darn good burger and some nice fries, plus a whole slew of other options. My husband is the beer lover of the family, and he was thrilled to hear Mountain Sun would be opening an establishment in Longmont. He has visited Longs Peak on many occasions; His recommendation: Colorado Kind Ale. Things to know: –They don’t accept credit cards.(There is an ATM within the restaurant, a Wells Fargo across the street, and they accept checks.) –There aren’t any TVs. I consider that a good thing. –They have a Happy Hour during Broncos’ games.(See previous«thing to know.»)

Having been to the sister restaurants in Boulder, and looking for someone else to make our supper, my DH and I came here for food. We were seated quickly, although the table was very close to our neighbors, it was quiet enough to hear normally. Our waiter was training a new waiter and that was where the problem of the night occurred… When our waters were brought, the trainee waiter didn’t have the tray balanced quite right or something and it was tipped over onto my husband. He quickly apologized and everything was cleaned up. But of course being covered in cold water did not an ideal dinner make. We moved on though and the staff all did a great job making up for the mistake. We sampled a few beers and settled on a yummy option off the daily menu. For food, I had the buffalo chicken and DH had the junk burger with fries. Mine was really good, but could have used a bit more bleu cheese. DH said his was also good. We were too full to try the homemade bread pudding dessert… another time for sure! At the end of our meal, they generously comped the beer and DH’s sandwich… not necessary but very kind. We will be returning for sure… PS…don’t forget cash or check! No credit cards accepted…
