I’ve had the darndest time recently having a ceiling fan installed in my master bedroom that was free of any noise. Apart from the horrible blasting of the train horns all night, I live in a quiet neighborhood and can hear the ceiling fan even if it makes even the slightest noise. After having 3 ceiling fans installed by Lowes (Lowes staff were very helpful and professional by the way) over a 5 month period, I still could not get a ceiling fan that was noise free, I decided to contact Lumenarea… WOW! The owner instantly advised me that he would send out his Ceiling fan installation expert who diagnosed the problem in that I just needed a «higher-​end» fan. I stopped by the store and found the fan I wanted and was guaranteed that if the fan didn’t meet my needs that they would make it right. This morning the ceiling fan was installed and «NO» noise. I’m extremely happy and still can’t get over the amazing customer focus and service. I would highly recommend Lumenarea for your ceiling fan purchases and installation needs!

These people have more selection than anywhere I’ve been yet. The staff is very helpful and they are pet friendly.

Highly recommend working with this team! They constructed a blueprint of a lighting piece we wanted which had recently been altered so the company could still create it.

This is my favorite lighting store. Family owned. Dog friendly. Lots of ideas and everyone is very helpful.

I tried «buy local» and «support local small businesses», but they seemed indifferent about offering assistance, answering questions or offering suggestions. Honestly, they did not seem interested whether we bought our lights there or Home Depot.
Due to the good selection, I purchased my lighting there. Be warned, if they have to order something, getting all call back or an update will not be prompt. Bottom line: if they have what you want in stock and you do not need assistance, then they are adequate.

Worst customer service ever! Went here looking for something specific and even though there were only 2 customers in the store, not one sales person asked if I needed any help. They we too busy socializing even though I was in the store for 15 minutes obviously checking out several items. Their products are greatly overpriced anyway, but I would have made a purchase if they weren’t snobs. I don’t know how they stay in business.

So I have been searching high and low for replacement bulbs for my bathroom vanities and kitchen pendant lights and have struck out everywhere. I called here a day ago and the owner said to come on down because he had a ton of halogen lights in stock. So I went in yesterday and the guy totally remembered me which was nice. I showed him the bulbs and literally 2 minutes later he was back with exactly what I needed. Not only that, he got my info so the next time I came in, we wouldn’t have to try and remember what bulbs I previously purchased. That’s what I’m talking about! Customer for life right here!

Terrible experience today at Lumenarea. They are real nice when they take your money but not so nice when you need to return it. Sucks when you support local businesses and the owners don’t support you back. Makes me SOOO angry. I hate giving money to Home Depot but…
And to make matters worse, the salesperson with the rude attitude who spoke to me in a pedantic and misogynistic manner was the OWNER! So not cool.

I am an electrical contractor and work from Denver to Fort Collins. Lumenarea is absolutely my favorite lighting store along the front range. The owners, Bill and Julie, have done an outstanding job building a great inventory of very special and unique products to fill there beautiful show room. In addition to outstanding lighting fixtures, and lamps, they have some great art, furniture, and other home accessories. It’s difficult for me to pick up my orders for my clients without browsing to see if they have anything new that I can’t live without!
I send all my customers to Lumenarea, I know I can send my clients to them with complete faith that they will be treated well, and given the attention and education they need. Many of my customers have complicated lighting situations, or want utilize emerging technology such as LED lighting, or whole house lighting control systems. These concepts can get confusing. I’m glad to have Lumenara there to help make sense of it all and help keep it all simple.
