It sucks that this is our«asian market» in Longmont. When it first opened, it was all asian food(sorta) and the selection was pretty okay. Since then, in order to boost sales and probably stay in business, they took over half of the store and made it a ghetto liquor shack. There are gates, so you can’t really shop the liquor, although I’m not sure why you would. There are plenty of good liquor stores with an actual selection. That leaves what’s left of the food portion. You can find a couple decent things in a pinch, but don’t head to this place expecting to find a good selection for an asian recipe that you want to try. Bummer is… no place else to go in town. You’d have to hit Boulder or Broomfield to find any decent place to buy your groceries.

Worst selection of both food and booze, cute building from the outside, being an old train station, but I think it should have stayed one. It is very depressing on the inside, it was filled with couple of alcoholics, when I went there, that smelled really bad, trying to barter a price on a pint of cheap vodka with owner, they were .20 short, the rest was in change. I was surprised,(not really by that time), that there was no white wine. As far as the food, it all looked sketchy, & I would rather drive to Denver or Broomfield, than to chance it here.

Crazy place! Located in a little shack near downtown. Owner I think is Vietnamese heritage, recent transplant from California. On the left side of the hut, are the Asian sauces that are haphazardly scattered around on the shelves. Some of them had expiration dates of 2001! Still, I managed to find some curry sauces and so forth, and a Vietnamese fish sauce that the owner let me taste right in the store. On the right side, is the reason most patrons come here — a liquor store, fenced in, with a sign in front that says«No Backpacks». Wow! If people are trying to sneak out with alcohol unpaid maybe they should hire someone to page the alcohol for the customers, like a library!
