I have to agree with all the reviews here so far. Best chocolates I’ve had since my visit to France! Beautiful, elegant, handcrafted and delicious… branch out and try the«strange» flavors like lavender or rose or rosemary caramel. The French style macarons are delectable and come in many colors and flavors. I love to get the 8 count box because then I have a variety to hold me over for a couple weeks. Granted I could eat all of them in one sitting, as they are generally not overly sweet, but I do recommend pacing them out; savor each bite, each morsel. Mmm! Go right now!

Truly, the best thing about this place is that not only are the treats handmade and heavenly, but the staff are more than engaging. I think the best thing about their team is that no matter how many chocolates you are looking to purchase, they treat you with value and kindness. What I enjoy most is that they are extremely generous with samples, proof that they are proud of their product enough to share it without expectation. Now that is service.

Chocolate buying should be an enjoyable experience. For some, it’s a way to splurge and feel pampered. I don’t want to walk into a chocolate shop and feel like I’m a burden to those behind the counter. Buying chocolate should make you happy. At Robin’s chocolates, the moment I walked through the doors, I was transported to a chocolate paradise. I was greeted with a smile, and there’s no doubt that everyone on the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I was curious about many of the chocolates, and each of my questions was answered kindly and without hesitation. I had a hard time controlling myself around these exceptional chocolates and was left nearly speechless, they are that good. Actually, they are phenomenal. I believe that Robin’s training in the culinary world and her sensitive and well-developed palate make for an outstanding chocolatier. She combines unexpected flavors — like sage, something I normally only associate with savory dishes — with chocolate in a way that’s sublime. She has a way of mixing the familiar with something new and different, but her classic flavors are equally magnificent. In fact, the milk chocolate hazelnut flavor was to die for. It still stands out as one of my favorites. Her signature piece, the Chocolate Caramel Fleur de Sel — Caramel layered with chocolate caramel and sea salt in a dark chocolate shell –is by far the best chocolate caramel chocolate I have ever eaten. It’s hauntingly good and perfect in every way: flavor, texture, appearance and overall consumption experience. It’s not surprising that Robin uses all-natural ingredients and the highest quality chocolates. Whether it’s the lovely desserts and pastries or the incredible chocolates, you know you are getting a treat that’s made with meticulousness, one that is both visually stunning and tastes amazing.

Robin is the queen of chocolates! I have never had such amazing and creative(but still reasonably priced) desserts. I recommend the opera cake, and the marzipan birds. But every time I go i find a new favorite, plus, I grabbed a gluten free cake for my friend and she could not stop raving! YOUHAVETOTRYROBINCHOCOLATES!!! I promise you will love it.

Robin is awesome! And did I mention her chocolates are to die for? She gave us a sample of her sipping chocolate while we browsed the cases and. WOW.

Simply put, this is absolutely the best chocolate shop in Boulder Country. Fantastic service and the most delicious, extensive, and unique choice of chocolates you can find. I could eat these everyday, which is even more impressive considering I’m not a huge fan of chocolate in the first place. They also make for great gifts! I gave a box to my boyfriend’s family for Christmas and they loved them. My point: You gotta try them.

I was surprised to read the review where the Unilocaler found Robin to be unpleasant.. I’ve spoken with Robin several times and found her willing to chat about chocolates and her experiences in the culinary field. During my last visit, Robin came out of the back room where she was working to let me have a taste of a new candy she was testing. She’s also a former software engineer and they tend to be no-nonsense personalities, so please don’t be scared off by a review saying she was unpleasant., because you will miss out on the amazing chocolates. The chocolates are nearly too beautiful to eat but go ahead or you will be missing out. There’s some old standbys but what I like is the interesting ones, like the white-chocolate-Thai-curry I normally don’t like sweet with spicy but always make an effort to try something I don’t think I would like, just to see. Well, the curry sweets are brilliantly done. Evertyhing is made on-site, and with care and quality ingredients. She crafts them more in a European style, so they are not overly sweet. There’s a level of complexity to the confections that I enjoy. These are to be savored and not gobbled up. I actually pair mine with wine or beers, and take my time with them. The shop also offers mni-cupcakes, which I haven’t tried, they look lovely. My husband likes the chocolate-covered Marzipan birds that show up on occasion. The packaging is low-key gold and brown and very elegant. The shop always has various samples to try and it is spotlessly clean. The various counter people are always polite, enthusiastic, and helpful.

Roy ‘The Hungry Englishman’ Spectacular!!! A huge fan of quality chocolate and Robin makes some of the finest anywhere in American. If you like quality chocolate you must visit their little store on Airport Road. The moment you enter the staff are always sincerely excited for you to try a sample, this is honest promotion at its best. I have always been treated the same whether I’m buying a whole box or just one chocolate. Robin is often there and is a true master of her craft. If you love chocolate you MUST visit this wonderful store.
