I had my sport coat altered recently and was very pleased with the work. Owner was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be bringing some pants to be hemmed.

I have been a long time customer, but recently the new owner has not had my items done on time. I usually don’t mind, but this time I needed them done when promised. I made it s point to tell them that I needed it done by the date promised, we were flying to a family wedding. My husband went to pick the clothes up and my dress wasn’t done, she said it would be done on Monday. I told her that was not acceptable because I needed to take it to the dry cleaner before we left. She said «I dong know why you’re taking it to the dry cleaner, if el get wrinkled when you pack it.»
I have been going there for 10 years and WILL NOT return.

Very professional shop. Friendly service and great location. Will definitely use them again.

I have had clothes altered here at least 4 times, mainly because I had been lazy about trying to find a new tailor close to my home. However, I am done!
I have had a jacket repaired, pants hemmed, dresses taken in, sequins added to a costume & a long dress shortened.
Each time I have gone, it has taken much longer than I am originally told for the job to be completed. The work is satisfactory, but never outstanding and the prices are (in my opinion) fairly ridiculous.
The last time I used this place, I tok a NEW, never-​been-​worn maxi dress in, to be shortened to knee-​length. When I called the day it was supposed to be ready, they said they needed a few more days… this happened 3 times!
When I picked it up, the new hem at the bottom was «bunched up» and looked terrible. On top of that, there was a strange stain on the side of the dress toward the bottom, that had not been there when I dropped it off.
When I pointed these issues out, the gentlemen there shrugged his shoulders and handed me my bill, which had increased by $ 10 from the original quote.
After pointing out the issues several more times. He said «you’ll have to come back and talk to the owner.»
Fast forward to the next day… came in and talked to the owner. Pointed out all of the issues again. Her answer to all of this was «If you want this dress, pay your bill.»
Not sure how this place stays in business. Stay away from here!!!

I took a pair of slacks here to get the zipper completely redone/​new. It had separated from the material and there was no other way but a new zipper. Unfortunately it was my go to piece in my wardrobe for work so it was a necessity.
As far as friendliness, the lady who answered my questions over the phone and helped me once I was in the store was very friendly. She answered everything I asked even though I may have had stupid questions to someone who knows what they are doing. A ⁴⁄₅ in my book.
Timing was another story. A full week before they were done when I originally asked for early in the week and less time. But that was overlooked and not even considered. I could have pushed it further but didn’t want to press my luck with my precious slacks. ²⁄₅ for scale. I’ve been to lots of tailors over the years for other items and this was by far the most time I’ve had a piece in the shop.
Price was also another story. Wow! $ 20 for a new zipper. I was expecting $ 15 maximum but I’m not a tailor and don’t know what goes into these things. Plus I probably could have pushed it further also or said no… but my precious slacks were in need. Still surprised by the price. 3/​5, it seems pricey but I don’t know better so I’m in the middle here.
Quality seems great. I got them and haven’t worn them yet… looks good though. They actually look like the original and like nothing was even broken on them. Of course if I wear them and they fall apart I’ll change my review… but looks outstanding! 4/​5, very nice.
Overall I meet int he middle and gave a ³⁄₅. The timing and quality were huge factors for me and I averaged those two.
I’d definitely go back though, it’s the perfect location for me for a lunch time drop off/​pick up. Next time though, I’ll set my expectations based on experience and be prepared for a wait. But if it’s something I need quick I’m open to finding a different tailor.
