Sunflower Spa

I absolutely love this place. There is a wonderful ambiance, the staff is extremely friendly and their services are grand! I’ve gotten the best pedicures EVER at Sunflower Spa! They actually last. This is my favorite spa.

I loved this spa! Just moved out here from the East Coast and I so needed a massage after our long car journey. It was one of the best massages I ever had, it was like she instinctively knew my left shoulder was tense. I splurged and did the hot stones, which was well worth every penny! The atmosphere was wonderful too, very quiet and relaxing!!!

I love this place more and more every time I come. The ladies really care and are always professional. I wish I could come every week. Samantha the best massage thank you and Miss Ali thank you so much for refreshing my winter toes.

If I could give them zero stars I would.
My students saved up and gave me a gift certificate for this place. Unfortunately, it’s located WAY far away from where I live and where I work so it was really inconvenient to get to. I had to get off work early if I wanted to go or drive really far on my days off to get there from home. I took off early to give them a try but it was the worst massage I’ve ever had. Later, I talked to the people there and they said I could get a refund if it wasn’t working out. I debated for a long time about what to do. There was still over $ 100 on the gift certificate. Finally, I took off work early (again) to go in for a refund but they told me they wouldn’t give it to me!
Poor business practice — especially for a place that espouses «peace». I never can understand owners who won’t give refunds. They’ll almost always lose more than they gain by bad word of mouth.
I regret that my students’ money will go to waste — but I won’t go back to this place.

Looking for a relaxing place to unwind and be pampered? Well this is the place to go! Every service is top of the line and you can’t find a nicer group of professionals. Hydra facials are my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any service… Enjoy!

So many reasons to love this place!
They have amazing massage therapists, aesthetitisians (sp), and nail artists.
I am a regular client and every time I am kicky enough to go, it’s more special than my last visit.

* Tried to make an appointment using online reservation system.
* Called a few days later as I didn’t receive any kind of confirmation from the system, as it said I would. Left voice message.
* Received two emails from the manager letting me know that the reservations I sent wouldn’t work (which I figured).
* I sent two emails back letting them know the four times I am available. No response.
* Sent another email.
Meh. I’m going to a Boulder salon. Please don’t have online appointment tools if they don’t work. It’s just time consuming and annoying for all parties.

I love this spa. From manicure to facial to body treatment they have you covered professional and relaxing.

We had an amazing experience at Sunflower. The front desk staff was patient and accommodating for our large group and all of our food and beverages. Booking the appointments was really easy with Miriam, she was patient and so helpful. The massages were wonderful (per the gals who had them), my facial was great and the mani and pedi services were perfect. Thank you so very much for accommodating our group and letting us take over, we hope you didn’t have too many bagel crumbs and wine glasses to clean up:)

I love spas, but hate hoity-​toity. That’s why Sunflower is the spa for me. This spa is simply the most relaxing and laid back spa experience in Longmont and surrounding areas. Whether you’re in for a pedicure, a massage, or a facial, the friendly service and peaceful atmosphere of this spa will let you relax and focus on caring for you. It’s all of the luxury with none of the snobbery. You’ll feel right at home.

For me this is really the only place to go in the surrounding area. I have worked in the Spa industry for many years and here is what I love about Sunflower: the front desk staff is SO sweet and welcoming and efficient. They make everything roll along smoothly and well. The individual technicians all excel at their particular crafts. I LOVE the couples massage room and service. I have treated myself and partner to this several times and it is just an incredible, relaxing, sweet treat! Each massage therapist is tuned in to their specific client and conscientious to the whole over all experience. Vanessa is a genius with deep tissue and MANY other forms of massage. Larissa does glorious Thai Yoga Massage that leaves me humming for days. Samantha has a wonderful touch and leaves you feeling fantastic and over all pampered. Irma does occasional cameos and is deeply intuitive and skilled.
I also love to have facials done here. I am 50 and need the skin nutrition. I am told I look way younger every single day by random people, I credit this to their expertise and care.
Here is another thing that makes me love this place. I am deaf and since the first visit 5 years ago every single employee has done whatever they needed to to communicate kindly and clearly to me. This is no small feat.
Lastly, I adore the fact the robes are roomy and pure cotton. The service ware for water and mimosa and wine are glass, the towels are thick and fluffy and the lighting is soft and nurturing. God is in the details and Sunflower has the details.

The blossom pedicure was the best one ever had! I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing atmosphere with quality services!

Love the fully outfitted private locker room. Never have to leave looking like The Fonz – shampoo, hairdryer, etc. handy. Appointments readily available. Great last minute deals.

Despite the fact that I’ve sent an e-​mail complaining about a spa service, and a request to be removed from their mailing list, I received an e-​mail asking me to rate Sunflower Spa on Unilocal.No problem. This spa is overpriced and under delivers on their services. I had the absolute worst massage I’ve ever had in my life at this spa about 6 months ago. The massage room I was in was conveniently located within hearing distance of the miniscule mani/​pedi room. I could hear laughing pedi customers the entire time — not relaxing. The hot stone massage was awful — without going into detail, I was just happy when it was done. For $ 130/​tip I expect an actual spa experience. I sent an e-​mail to their customer service and never received a response. That’s basic customer service folks, dealing with and responding to complaint e-​mails. The mani/​pedi I had for my wedding wasn’t awful, but it was in the very mediocre range. Again, the price of their services factors into my opinion. I’ve had better mani-​pedis in a strip mall for a fraction of the price. I’m betting they will find a way to remove me from their mailing list now…

I’ve been to Sunflower twice now and been disappointed each time. The atmosphere is nice but neither the body wrap or massage I’ve had we’re worth the money. For the wrap, I spent the majority of the time in the room alone. No scalp massage, no shoulder rub, none of the little extras that really make you feel like you’re being pampered. During my second trip, I had a massage and it was the worst I’ve ever had. Despite warning them twice that I have back issues that make it difficult for me to lay on my stomach for too long without a bolster, they had me on my stomach for most the massage. When requesting a bolster, I was handed a towel. When I asked if they’d just spend more time on my shoulders and scalp, rather than my back, I was ignored.
I’m disappointed in this place. The have the ambiance to rooms to make this an amazing spa, but the focus on delivering quality services that really make you feel pampered is just missing.
And like another woman mentioned, once you’re on their mailing list, you’re there for life. I unsubscribe monthly. In fact, that’s how I got asked to write this review!

Found this spa on Unilocal and I agree with the other reviews. I was able to get an appointment on short notice and today had a terrific pedicure followed by an amazing facial. The receptionist was professional and courteous, and helped me choose the right facial for me.
Sung-Suk’s pedicure really concentrated on my calluses and her touch was gentle and deft.
Jolene gave me a facial that felt perfect. Relaxed and thorough. I never wanted it to end.
I already booked my next appointment. Can’t wait.

Wonderful spa in our small town! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is so peaceful. I booked that morning and they were able to fit in a massage, manicure and pedi. My massage was just what I needed to help alleviate a sore muscle in my neck. Jennifer was awesome and really understood my needs for this massage. Plus, this spa’s employees do NOT talk your ear off which I like (unlike another spa in Longmont). I cannot wait to try their Thai Yoga Massage!

Booked myself on short notice for one of their packages and had a great day. Their manicure and pedicure was wonderful. That was worth it all by itself. Loved every minute of it and the staff was great. Facial was nice and it included a foot massage; can’t complain. I only got a 30 minute massage and it was good. I can’t say it was the best massage that I ever received, but it was a massage and it was relaxing. They serve wine and water and have a small sitting area. Other spas have saunas and spas in the locker room, this spa only had showers so there really wasn’t anything else to do before or after your booked services. Overall, great atmosphere, nice staff and they were very accommodating.
But the mani and pedi were spectacular by Sung.
