The Wax Studio

I have only been here a few times so far, but I love it. They have fair pricing, they are very friendly, and they are very fast. Today, I met with one of their new employees, Jen, an esthetician (new employee, but not new to this kind of work). She was amazing! She made it so it hardly hurt, was very thorough, and made friendly, non-​awkward conversation. I will definitely request her when I go back!

I have way sensitive skin due to medication and awesome genes, with those genes I was blessed with amazing brows and eyelashes!
Growing up as a teen it was torture having to endure the old school waxing methods, in the last few years has evolved but still depended on tech, the quality of product and how bad of a flare I had.
When my usual person was out of town for some time and in a rare opportunity that I felt a surge of energy and wanted to try a new place because my eyebrows were on the verge of bushman look and I have a theory of «Never trust a person with messed up or unkempt eyebrows»! So while on a coffee run saw and stopped by thinking I needed to make an appointment and also wanted to case it, as my immune system is horrible and will catch crap like it’s going off the market and make me beg on my knees for mercy– ever seen a really bad wax job where only partially done because hair and root are thick that the old peel wax embeds in a cut where a root is and get infected? Happen when I was 21 while leaving for business trip, was awesome to look like I had a swollen eye and go to Strange ER to explain I was waxed, it was a cosmetologist/​astheistic who hadn’t waxed since school given the results and be lanced.
Then to walk into this Gorgeous, Clean, Sanitary, Stylish, Economical and Can tell they really care about what they do and their business by keeping up with training, how they treat their patrons and products used, which are of the highest quality.
I go in and have great brow waxing and looking forward to the summer for more adventurous places to wax that I was too scared to try! :-) I always will be a loyal wax customer here and always tell my friends to go here, that their packages are so worth buying (which I do most often!)
Sorry for the long review but you have no idea how long it took me to get to a great place!

I have been here several times, and very happy each time. Today, I came to my appointment, ready for vacation, just to find them closed. Called just to find out they closed early, and didnt alert me. I made this appt 2 days ago. The young woman the phone was the same one who made my appt. She offered no apology and didnt seem to care. She made no effort to fix the situation. I will NEVER come here again only because the customer service failed me.

I wanted to like this place. It is clean and friendly. However, both times I’ve had my brows waxed the person doing the waxing pulled off a significant part of the skin under my brows leaving me look like I was beaten up for a week or so. I won’t be going back.

I just found this place today. They fit me in for a last minute appointment, and they did a fantastic job. The studio was clean, and the wax was virtually pain free. I will definitely be back.

I moved to CO from Orange County, CA, where there is a salon on every corner.
I was glad to see one open up in my neighborhood AND it’s just as classy as those in the OC. Although, they are MUCH nicer here in Longmont. I walked in, no appointment for a eyebrow wax. The place smells amazing! Prices are reasonable and they have wax for sensitive skin. I will be returning.

I noticed this new business and I’ve needed to wax my lip & brows so I gave The Wax Studio a try… I got right in, had a great waxing & shaping with the owner and the place is clean & ‘fancy’ according to the little boy that was in there with his Mom! Very affordable! I will be back!
