Pretty good burgers, the loaded fries and onion rings were really good. Although I was a little leery of the special seasoning on the table it really mad my burger that much better. A great hit of nostalgia!

I found the homestyle flair of this place to be a good contrast to what made me feel like Sonic could be but decided to go the fast route. The burger, fries and onion rings I had were great quality and we had a plethora of topping options. All in all one of the better burger experiences I’ve had in awhile. Always nice to fine another niche in the hamburger marketplace. Keep the mason jar glasses, it’s a nice touch. Oh and have the beautiful black waitress call me, she stole my heart with her demeanor and politeness.

We were here Friday night. It was not busy due to the weather I guess. We ordered two burgers, Philly Cheese Steak & an order of half fries half onion rings. The quality of the food has gone way down since they first opened. Service was just ok, wrong toppings put on one burger, other burger had very little toppings yet they actually were correct. Cold when arriving at table. Philly Cheese was small about the size of a hot dog bun. Fries & onion rings were horrible, they were burnt & smelled as if the oil was past due for a change. Definitely not worth the almost 40 $ & will most likely not be back.

100% beef burgers made to order. It’s not a pre-made frozen patty.

I’m new to Longview and always looking for somewhere new to try. A friend at work recommended Cheeseburger Cheeseburger and I’m so glad he did!!! I went Wednesday night by myself and had amazing service! The woman who seated me was very welcoming and explained the menu — WOW what a menu! I love that you can choose how big of a burger you want and then customize it with any combination of toppings. I’ve never seen this amount of free toppings anywhere! My burger came out perfect(mayo, bbq sauce, onion rings, lettuce and guacamole) and I ordered a small combo basket of fries and onion rings. YUMMY! I just wish I had saved room for a shake!!!

Great food but plan to be here for 2 hours. They’re consistently under staffed and they make the food after you order. That last part isn’t negative but the first totally is.

Food was excellent. The establishment was clean and 60s theme was awesome. The idea was to take my family to a different place for a change. This was definitely student

Lunch. Just wanted a turkey burger and didn’t want to put much thought into it. Food, well, ok. The waitress tried real hard and she and the others were friendly enough to everyone. It’s just a little expensive for what you get, but people love this place. I’m just not.

Awesome! I love how you can«customize» your burger. Choose the size burger you would like, then the cheese, then choose from what seems like 50 toppings. There are typical toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, mustard, etc. Then there are other unique toppings like cajun seasoning, pineapples and peanut butter. The kids loved the food also and they especially loved that their food came in a cardboard 50’s model car — in this case a Thunderbird and a Corvette.

Gave this place a second try. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since they prolly have lost a lot of business since five guys opened down the street. For a bacon cheeseburger with a small fry it cost me a little over $ 10. For the same meal at five guys it cost $ 8(I am sorry I don’t mean to compare I just had to get that out). I realize five guys is a chain restaurant which is why I am not saying anything more about it. The food at cheeseburger cheeseburger: The burgers are just okay. Personally I thought the meat was bland and had no seasoning. The fries on the other hand had way too much. I’m not sure what seasoning they use for their fries but it’s a very powerful taste and I don’t care for them. I have to say when you order fries to go they load you up. The menu is extremely overwhelming.

Good atmosphere and the fried veggie basket was great. Ordered burger medium it came out over cooked and dry as toast. Cooked beyond well done. All in all the burger had a good flavor despite being overlooked. I would put this place as better than butcher shop but still not even close to Jucy’s.

Best burger in Longview. 50s diner style atmosphere. Tons of mix and match toppings. A little pricy but come hungry the portions are huge! Well worth the $$.

This is now the best place in Longview to get a burger. Blows Butcher Shop and Juicy’s away. I really like all of the toppings and the hamburger meat is delicious. The restaurant seems a lot like the Purple Pig chain that is in Dallas. Despite the dumb name I will certainly be coming back and definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I decided to take a quick trip into town for a burger. This was our first trip to Cheeburger Cheeburger. As the precious reviewer stated, we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. We waited a bit to be waited on but our server was quite attentive. Thanks so much, Casey! Our order was correct and quite tasty. We both ordered burgers. REALLY good!!’. We also tasted the onion rings and the fries both were fresh and hot. We will definitely be back.

Cheeburger Cheeburger is a growing national chain. At the time of this review, only two were open in Texas: Houston and Longview. This review is based on a lunch. Our 15-year-old son went to Cheeburger Cheeburger with a friend about the second week it was open. He called us to brag that his photo is now on the wall for eating ‘Our Famous Pounder’(actually 20 oz. before cooking). We were so proud that we avoided the place for a while. Upon entering the restaurant, which appears to take up two slots in a strip mall near Lowe’s, a nice woman took our name and told us the wait would be very short. The place was packed and there were others waiting with us. The soundtrack in this 50s-themed burger and shake joint is none other than 1950s and early 1960s rock ‘n roll. The walls are decorated accordingly, and the furniture looks like it came off the set of ‘Happy Days’. It’s fun, but thankfully, they don’t go overboard. Our wait was short, as promised. Our server was there in a flash and took our drink orders(this place sells Pepsi products, which I’m not fond of … so I ordered a cherry Pepsi made with cherry syrup). The same lady who played hostess came over to ask whether we were first-timers, and started going through the menu.(In hindsight, I think this lady is the owner.) One of this chain’s hooks is that there are about 30 toppings — everything from peanut butter to artichoke hearts — that are complimentary. For a little more, you can get some higher end toppings(bacon, sauteed mushrooms, etc.). I went old school and got a mustard burger with the traditional toppings. My wife went with her old standby(mayo). THEBURGER: I ordered the ‘Semi-serious’, a third-pounder. It came out on a nicely toasted bun. My wife’s ‘The Classic’(referred to on the menu as the ‘beginner burger’) looked equally tasty. Here’s the deal… This is the best restaurant hamburger in Longview. The meat(billed as Angus) is juicy and simply seasoned with salt and pepper. It reminds me a lot of Five Guys, another excellent burger(with no area locations). THEFRIES: The skin-on fries came out piping hot and, once again, simply seasoned. I’m not a connoisseur of fries, but these are good. Before you let your eyes get larger than your stomach, order a small size for 1 – 2 people. We didn’t bother with the other selections on the menu: shakes, malts, onion rings and wraps, but the patty melt looks like it will be in my future. THEBOTTOMLINE: Cheeburger Cheeburger is a chain. It’s also very good. Everything is made to order, and it shows. We’ll be back. ajh
