Had lunch there for the first time and was really pleased with the food. I was alone so I sat at the bar and service was really fast and the servers were attentive. Love the décor, sort of antique and Art Deco a little bit. I could definitely see coming here for a weeknight date and enjoying a dinner service. Bread was awesome, restaurant was really clean, and loved the service.

Please Please Please do not eat here! This is the worst place I have ever had the displeasure to eat at. The food was straight from a frozen bag. My husband«Tuscan Rib-eye» had absolutely no seasoning on it at all. I had to spit it out when i tried a bite. I got Dr. pepper to drink they brought me a CAN of Dr. Pepper and charged us 1.63 for 1 can of Dr.Pepper. Our waitress sat at the bar the entire time laughing and goofing off with other waitresses. Not to mention its supposed to be a nice place but I felt like I was a Hooters hers shorts were so short. I hate that we spent $ 44 on that garbage.

Wow… really average/poor. Staff was inattentive. No bread or salad with the entrée. Asked for extra Parmesan and got a tablespoon full. Lasagna was ok at best. Stouffers frozen is better. But the sauce was ok. Not too acidic. Presentation was like a plate of dog food. No garlic to detect. Food came out faster than it took me to drink a few sips of my wine. I should have just walked out after seeing the mean age of the customers at 70+

Longview’s hidden jewel. I’ve tried everything here from sandwiches and salads to daily special beef tips over rice and. butterflied steak. Outstanding with a really cool atmosphere. The place is billed as Italian, but it’s really a fusion of French-American with a few sidebars. Go. Take your date. You’ll be back for sure.

Personally, I don’t care for this place. I think I can cook a better meal at home. It’s primarily a bar type of atmosphere which I don’t enjoy. I think the parking is too cramped and it is not safe to even cross the dark street right at the turn from Judson to Ruthlynn.

Can’t say I was impressed. First time going and ordered lobster ravioli. Was pretty heavy and too creamy for my liking. Friend said her cannelloni were bland. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Bread was good. Atmosphere was so-so. Not the best Italian I’ve had.

Nice, neighborhood restaurant/bar kind of atmosphere. Note: Beer and wine only but you can bring your own if you prefer mixed drinks. Very good selection of both beer and wine at decent prices. By the glass prices are a bit high making by the bottle more attractive. Great, friendly service but like many other restaurants these days, they need to teach their servers how to serve wine by the bottle. While I realize the wine ultimately gets into the glass either way, it truly adds to the experience to have the wine properly presented and served. Very good food: Starter of Italian bread and herbed butter(primary herb is chives) was wonderfully crusty but was not warm. House salad was a nice variety of greens topped with olive tapenade and served with choice of house made dressings. The Italian vinaigrette was good but a bit on the sweet side. Ribeye(medium rare) with side of twice baked potato was perfectly cooked with a nice crusty exterior char. Twice baked potato was delicious. Spinach manicotti was two tender pasta tubes filled with rich cheese with a smattering of spinach that might should have been cooked a tad more to achieve the proper texture. This was topped with a creamy Alfredo sauce. Very nice with the bottle of red wine we selected. Cajun redfish topped with crawfish was amazing BUT be warned, this dish is spicy. Served with wild rice. The highlight of the evening was the lobster ravioli with Alfredo sauce. A little heat but not enough to be distracting. Chocolate crème brûlée was delicious — a different twist on typical chocolate crème brûlée, this one had a chocolate bottom with a vanilla top and perfectly crisped sugar crust. Bananas foster didn’t ring our bell quite like the crème brûlée, but was a very good rendition with graham cracker crust filled with the banana and cream filling. Still a very nice dessert. This is one of the better renditions of upscale dining in Longview. We will definitely be back.

Italian restaurant(it’s more bar than it is restaurant) with average Italian food. Bread served before meal was mostly crust with artificial garlic butter(yuck!). Caesar salad was fresh, but drenched in a runny, tasteless dressing. Chicken Alfredo was just okay. The service was good. It was LOUD. Overall, I was not impressed by this place.

I was looking for something a little different and I can truly say I found it. The ambiance was nice, the service was friendly and the food was excellent. I tried one of the specials(blacked red fish with a Cajun sauce and wild rice) and it was very tasty, just the right amount of spice. The wine selection was a little limited though. Would go again.

I wonder how many pounds of garlic Fritz’s goes through a week. If you are a garlic lover you may be in heaven at Frtiz’s. From their garlicy butter spread to their overly garlic spinach and artichoke dip, garlic should be Fritz’s middle name! They have great pasta dishes — the cheese manicotti is fabulous. It is an entrée for two people or you will have guaranteed left overs. Chef salad is pretty great paired with their thousand island dressing — but then again you can never go wrong on a salad. The price of the food is comparable to a chain restaurant some item’s on the menu might even be cheaper than the chain and with Fritz’s your getting more for your money. Try to dine during off peak hours since seating is very limited. Very very small parking lot as well, you probably will end up parking on the neighbors grass.

Don’t get me wrong… I love children!(former teacher, mom). BUT let me tell you it was refreshing to have a date night with my husband without random strangers allowing their kids kick, scream, etc in a restaurant. When we do get alone time it is to focus on each other and away from kiddos!!! This was the PERFECT place to get away. We were seated immediately and had drinks super quickly. They also brought bread with garlic butter to spread on it that was some of the best I’ve had. Next we were brought salads(came with our meals) we both got the house Italian dressing. The dressing is like crack, very addictive! I ordered the tenderloin medallions with mushroom sauce and twice baked potato. It was very flavorful and a large portion. Very happy with my choice. My husband ordered the cheese stuffed manicotti which he enjoyed. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and it was some of the best I’ve tried. This was a fabulous dinner out my husband. Only improvement would be cloth napkins, which is not a big deal. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Will definitely be back for couples night and Girl’s night!

I’ve eaten here several times and always have enjoyed myself. I’ve always got their Tuscon style steak with twice baked potato. The steak is very good I always enjoy a good steak when you can cut it with a fork and don’t need to add any sauces to it. The wait staff is friendly and quick, but expect it to be a little slow during heavy business hours. The parking area is a little small but theirs extra parking available along the side of the building and behind it. Prices are moderate between 25 — 30.

Eaten here for lunch a few times. The house salad is good and I always get one with my lunch. I have tried the gumbo twice and the oyster po-boy. The gumbo is made in house, so it varies from day to day, but is tasty for the most part. The oyster po-boy was subpar, but the homemade chips it comes with are pretty good. This seems like the type of place that you need to find out what they do well and just stick to those few things.
