My husband and I went to this location for our annual check up and cleaning as first time patients. We have dental insurance and provided all of our insurance information to them prior to our appointment. After our appointment we received a bill for $ 242 and $ 387.55! Our insurance covers for prophylaxis care so a bill should never been received. Come to find out they did not book our appointment with a provider that is covered under our insurance, HELLO!!! Why would I provide you insurance information if I want to pay out of pocket? AND to top it off we found out the provider called my insurance company the day of my appointment to find out if she was covered under my plan and was informed she was not, but she still proceeded to see me! We’ve called many times after receiving the bills to try and work something out and have them call our insurance company but they will not help us handle it. This company is a complete FRAUD! I WOULDNEVERUSETHISCOMPANYAGAINORRECOMMENDTHEMTOANYONEELSE! Did I mention I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes total on 3 separate occasions with their customer service?! Wish I could rate them zero stars but that was not an option.

Probably the worst place you can take your child in Longview for pediatric dental care. We waited over an hour for our appointment, the other ‘kids’ in the waiting area were literally assaulting each other and cursing, very loudly. Once we went back to do x-rays and the exam we were glad to be away from the other wild children. The so called cleaning took less than 10 minutes and was interrupted twice so I’m sure something was missed. Actual dentist spent 5 minutes looking at her teeth and x-rays only to stand up and say okay you need 6 fillings and a crown on this baby tooth. A crown on a 6 year old girl’s baby tooth? We were checking out & the receptionist kept pushing for us to schedule the procedures for the next few days or next week but we asked for an appointment several weeks out. Considering it’d been 6 months since her last cleaning we got a second opinion the next week and guess what?!? She does not need a crown, at all! Kool Smiles will NEVER get our business again. They’re looking to pump out procedures and make money, not provide a healthy service for the kids under their care.
