Longview iPhone Repair

Well first let me say this place is very hard to find. It’s actually a car dealership and this guy is the dealership service office manager.
I paid almost $ 100 to have a broken screen repaired and the new screen went out in less than three months!!! Not broken or anything– just stopped working!
I was actually in Baton Rouge when it happened so I went to an actual IPhone store for help.
They said 2 things–
1. The repair had voided the warranty which the phone should have been still under because he (Ethan Langley) was not an authorized repair shop for Apple.
2. The replacement which had been used was not actually an Apple part– it was some after market off brand.
Finally I had also purchased a screen protector for $ 10 from here and Ethan had applied it for me. However, for some reason it affected the reversed pictures and made them fuzzy. I removed it and all the pictures I took were fine.
Total bummer– I will not be back.
