Ok so I have eaten a LOT of phở in search of the best. While PE in Longview is not the best of all time, it is certainly the best within a 30-mile radius, no doubt. For everyone complaining about poor service or unfriendly staff-perhaps try being nice yourself, or just be nice anyway. Kindness matters. My partner and I have been regulars here for close to 2.5 years since we moved here. Yes, we have gotten the occasional bowl that seemed«off» in balance of flavors, or not much meat, etc., but generally speaking, the food here is consistent. I recommend sticking to the beef options or veggie-if you do opt for chicken, request grilled breast meat only. They will make it happen, just be prepared to wait longer for your soup-but the payoff is worth it. I have found I don’t care much at all for the seafood phở-but that is my personal opinion. All in all, I am giving this rating because of the service, the speed, and consistency. When I am craving the bowl of phở I must have before I die, I run up to Seattle and go to Phở So 1.

I love this place. We eat here once a week and it’s great for take out. Large portions and inexpensive.

Food has no flavor, restaurant didn’t even have soy/fish sauce to improve the taste. Service was on the slightly ok side, but I had scrounge from table to table to get proper utensils.

Fast forward a few years Not only has the service improved DRASTICALLY, this is my family and my favorite restaurant in town. Their food is delicious, consistent in quality and it’s unusual to wait long for your food. I’m happy to see them doing well for themselves.

It’s pretty awesome that we have a Vietnamese restaurant and a place to eat Phở in Longview. While its not the most amazing I have ever had it is pretty darn good! Much better than driving all the way to Portland or Seattle for a little diversity in cuisine!

Very un– authentic… the chef had no idea how to make our Vietnamese coffee so they gave us a cup of regular coffee with a splash of milk… the seafood phở had great broth(that’s the one star) but they used some sort of rolled up processed food died to look like crab… until you unrolled it in your bowl. They offered the bread on the menu but they didn’t know what it was so they gave us a hunk of French bread with our phở… I’ll pass next time and go elsewhere!

Unflavorful soup. The only authentic part of my phở is the Sriracha sauce. It loks like another korean owned phở place.

1st time visit at Phở Ever with my mom. Sandwich was tasty – veggies nice a crunchy, lots of meat. Chicken salad bowl is enough for 2 meals. Will definitely be going back.

Stopped here on our way back from Seattle to OR. It is a nice clean Phở restaurant with Vegetarian options. Both the Hot & Spicy Vegetable Dish and Vegetarian Phở were good.

Ordered chicken phở. Noodles was good, soup was ok, chicken was gross. The service is whatever, didn’t offer hot tea, and as soon as I came in, the waitress gave me the menu and just LEFTME! But it’s cheap and not the worst phở place I been to.

I have phở at least once a week. I have tried several places in Portland and have found many gems. On my way home from Clallam Bay I wanted some phở, I found it in Kelso/Longview. I took the exit found phở Ever it was the worst I ever tasted. First of all, the noodles had long strips of onions wrapped inside of them and you couldn’t bite them off so they just fell on your chin, the broth was flavorless I had to use a lot of soy sauce and all the other sauces to at least give it some flavor it was really bad I would never go there again. On top of all that the girl that was serving everybody there didn’t look like she wanted to be there at all, she must have tasted the soup. Good luck if you decide ro go there. Later fellow Phở lovers!

One of my favorite Asian restaurants. If you like Kung Palo, theirs is excellent. It is called Saigon Kung Palo. Never disappoints. Had it at least dozen times. Phone soup also is very good.

I love Vietnamese food and thought I would stop in here for some noodles or Phở soup. I ended up ordering N5 which is usually a warm noodle dish with lettuce carrots, your choice of meat, cilantro, and you pour fish sauce over the top. I was super cold. The noodles tasted like they had come out of a cold bucket of water and even the meat was cold. WTHeck? that’s not how its supposed to be served :(

Gross. I ate there once when I first moved to Longview from CA. What a disappointment. The food was just nasty. That was 2 years ago and I haven’t been back.

Amidst a sea of chain restaurants in Longview, Phở Ever seemed like a welcome alternative. It was extremely bad, though. Service, as others have mentioned, is horrible. I asked if the restaurant used MSG. The server replied«don’t think so» in a way that indicated«I have no idea». Our order was mixed up — we ordered salad rolls and got shrimp rolls. It was almost impossible to wave the server down to pay our bill. The service was almost comically bad. She seemed to be avoiding eye contact, and seemed very unhappy to be there. The food itself tasted like the frozen or canned«chinese food» that you buy at the supermarket. My kung pao was sugary and gloppy, heavy sauce. The peanut sauce that came with our appetizer was similarly sugary and industrial tasting, almost the worst peanut sauce I“ve tasted. I would rather eat fast food than submit myself to this place again.

Great food at great prices! I’m not going to write a novel like everyone else, so here’s short version of my many visits lately. I usually get the spicy chicken and rice, it’s great, lots of chicken! The salad is unique and delicious. My husband likes the phở and the daily sandwich specials. However, my FAVORITE is the spring rolls. You can get three for $ 5.00, and that alone fills me up! They’re my new favorite things! Service wasn’t so good at first, but the gal has gotten a lot better!

I’ve had better. I went with some people who know their phở and were not impressed either. Don’t get me wrong, the food is definitely more than edible, but we were shorted on all the goods. I had a vietnamese sandwich, which was all bread and didn’t have enough meat or cilantro. The upside: it’s really cheap. But unfortunately, I think this is the only Vietnamese food you’re going to get in a 40 mile radius.

A surprise in Longview — Phở Ever. I have been spending a week in Longview and missed having a good Phở for lunch. I tend to have it at least once a week and up to(record) 7 times in one week so I know what I consider a good Phở. I went to Phở Ever yesterday — not expecting a great Phở — but I was surprised and would recommend it. As in many Vietnamese restaurants — forget about service and a smile(why I did not give 5 stars). Not rude service but robotic — no personality. I am rating this Phở against other Phở which is why the 4 stars. I have been asked how I rate a fast food higher than a sit down. I try to review similar food. Obviously if I was comparing this to a great Seattle restaurant — it would not fare that well.

They only just opened and though my wife and I were a bit skeptical, they are in a mall, we decided to give them a shot especially given that they are the only phở place in the area. Everything is very clean and they were quite busy but we got a table immediately. We started with a pair of spring rolls with peanut sauce and they were exceptionally good and the sauce was even better. My wife ordered the #14, Brisket, Flank, Tendon and Tripe Phở, small and I ordered the #11, Raw beef and Tendon, large. Food came out quickly and both were fantastic. Though I could have ordered the small bowl and been perfectly happy. The most amazing thing was the amount of meat. I had tendon in almost every bite and it was amaing. My only criticism is that I would have liked more basil, jalapeño and lime although I’m sure if asked the servers would have no problem bringing that out. The menu is quite extensive and we will defintely be back and soon!
