This is our favorite pizza place hands down. Even the salads are huge and fresh. Staff is always on their A game. No delivery is the only negative. It’s always busy so be ready.

My husband grew up here and told me that this pizza was the best pizza in the world. While I have to raise an eyebrow at this, it was tasty pizza. It also has alot of history and nostalgia for many of the people that still live there, both my husband and his brother and their cousins worked there growing up and they have some good memories there. It is a family run establishment and they cook everything fresh and to order… no canned veggies for them. The sausage is a fresh crumble that I really liked. The pepperoni is cut to order. The crust is a little weird from me growing up in NYC, I have long since stopped being a pizza snob but I like my crust still a little chewy and crisp. This crust is more crisp kind of cracker like. They load the toppings down but it wasn’t so much that the pizza became a soggy mess. I really liked their fat kid’s ketchup aka house made ranch dressing and we ordered a vat to go. It was only $ 3.25…I wish we had room to get more because I want to bathe in the stuff. The service was friendly and I honestly have no complaints.

There’s a reason this place has been voted«Best Pizza in East Texas» several years in a row. My family and I have been going here since I was little and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is fun. However, it does take a while to get a table during peak times, so plan to wait. My recommendation: large Bud Special with house dressing on the side and a pitcher of beer.

THEBEST pizza I’ve ever eaten. A must-try restaurant if you’ve never eaten here. This is in my top 3 favorite eateries in all of east Texas… and you can now order online.

My family have been longtime supporters of Pizza King. Out of all the pizza places in Longview this is the best one. It is a different kind of pizza; very air-y, crispy crust that some might not like. Everyone i have taken there loves it. Give it a try, you wont be sorry.

My job orders us pizza from Pizza King quite often and I for the life of me don’t know why! Idk if there’s just something wrong with my taste buds but the pizza here is NOT good. I’ve had pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and the everything pizza and was not impressed by any of it. Is it edible? Yes. Is it good? No. Would I spend my own money on it? No!

I guess we must have caught them on an off night, looking at all of the great reviews. My wife and I both found the pizza greasy and the crust tasteless and tough. Should we give them another try? Who’s buying for the test? Not me.

I really really like this pizza however it is a little frustrating trying to eat here. Most of the time the service is very poor and if you are a new comer, don’t expect to be seated or have any idea what to do when first coming in. Waitresses can be lazy from my observations.

I have to admit that most of my family loves Pizza King, but personally I prefer cheap, frozen pizza. Sorry I’m not a fan of their pizza, or their staff(slow, not friendly). I go because some of my family likes it and I love my family. If you want to read a good review of the place, read theirs. The pizza crust really shouldn’t be called pizza crust, it should be called cracker crust, they then add a little sauce and pile of enough other things to try to hide the crust… if doesn’t work. Piling the pizza an inch thick with toppings does NOT a pizza make. I don’t order the pizza, I order the sandwich which is ok, except for a slight weird taste that I’ve never been able to pin-point. I have ordered their spinach lasagna, nothing fancy but eatable. I’m sorry for the bad review, but I really don’t like their food or service. That being said, I love looking around the place, and enjoy my family’s company(who for the most part love the food, sorry they don’t like the wait staff either.) Try it you might be one of the ones that love the food, if not then enjoy looking around at the old toys and things, and enjoy your family’s company.

Never a disappointment! Be prepared to take your time. This is not a hurry up and eat kind of place. The waitresses are very good and polite but they don’t get in any hurry. But all the waiting is worth it. Just sit back and enjoy good conversation with your friends and family and then… The Pizza arrives. You take a look, breath deep and smile. Now you know why it is Pizza King.

Not impressed. One star awarded for cleanliness. I ate lunch here today for the first time. This is a Longview icon, so I wanted to try it out. There isn’t a sign to let customers know that there are waitstaff in the dining room. There are, however, other signs to advise not to park in the fire lane and that extra dressing is not free. I ordered my food at the takeout counter by mistake. There weren’t many people in the restaurant, but the people there all appeared to be regulars. The servers catered to their regular customers, totally ignoring a new customer. And I told them I was new! I was not made to feel welcome at all. The server FINALLLY brought my spaghetti and bread. About 5 minutes later, she remembered the salad and brought it. The spaghetti was overlooked(mushy). Think canned spaghetti texture. There was a lot of meat sauce that looked as if it were just dumped on top of the spaghetti. The taste was bland and not improved by adding salt. The salad was cold, crisp, and fresh. I ordered their special house dressing, but honestly don’t know, why its special. Had a bland mayo type consistently. Not as flavorful as ranch. The garlic bread was good, but nothing spectacular. It takes at least 30 minutes to make a pizza so be sure to call ahead. That’s what it appeared most customers did. I will not likely to be back. I like to be made to feel welcome when spending my dining dollars.

We ordered two pizzas last night. One was completely burnt & the other partial burnt. I took one back in & showed them it was burnt, & the cook was making ugly faces about me complaining. So, they only gave me $ back for one of them. We got home & tasted the partial burnt one, & it tasted horrible! Plus, the salad I ordered was totally brown. I don’t understand what has happened to our Pizza King. We usually eat there once a week. Now because of the quality & the attitude we will not be going back for a long time!!! It makes me sad! We spent $ 30& all of it went in the trash!!!

Seriously good pizza. Friendly kids working there. A family place. No coupons or specials but decent prices. I don’t eat alot of pizza but I do make it at home for my family sometimes and I can tell you that Pizza King uses really good ingredients. The secret to the sauce has to be alot of bell pepper and salt. The crust is excellent. I am always impressed with the food. The only negatives are that it is closed on Monday and can be very slow. There is a trick to getting pizza quicker, though; you call ahead and give your name when you sit down. They cook the pizza partially when you order it and just finish the cooking when you are seated. Anyone wondering whether this place is good just needs to consider how many other pizza places there are locally and then take a look at Pizza King’s parking lot. This place does so well it takes a weeklong spring break. I mean it.

Pizza was smaller than what I expected, and the crust tasted like a saltine cracker. The locals love this place, and I can’t figure out why.

I grew up on this pizza. It is not the best in the world, but it is great and it is unique. It’s got a great taste. And I don’t know where they get the pepperoni, but it is the best I’ve ever had. They are smaller and spicier. I always get the Bud’s Special, which has all the meats. I’m disappointed they put it on the menu. It used to be kind of a secret order for regulars. The best thing about Pizza King is the price. I normally get a medium pizza, a salad(and be sure you get the house/garlic salad dressing… it is the best!), and a drink and it’s less than $ 10. Their spaghetti dinner is great too. The downside is that they are SLOW. Be prepared to wait awhile after you order. And the service isn’t always great. The servers can be a little curt. But the food and price will make you forget all of that.

I just got a large pizza half all veggie half cheese and instead of making me a fresh pizza they took an old pepperoni pizza they had laying around took the pepperoni off and just dumped vegetables on one side and added a little cheese to cover up where the pepperoni had been on the cheese side. They also have a thr customer is always wrong mentality that I have heard about and witnessed so I didn’t bother to call and complain. I will just never eat here again and suggest to anyone I know never to eat here in the future.

I’ve been eating PK my whole life… Mom ate here while I was in utero and I continue to enjoy it as an adult. The house dressing is as addicting as black tar heroin. And the pizza is stellar as well. However, I can’t overlook the fact that the staff is not geared at all toward pleasing the customer. I always order mine to go because I’m too ADD to wait 45 minutes to dine in…(And after drinking cold beer for almost an hour I’m pretty full.) Maybe management could teach these high schoolers some proper telephone etiquette since it’s obvious they are of the generation who only know how to text. My phone order tonight went as follows… ‘Pizza King Hi can I get an order to go, please? What do you want?’ (Insert your order here) ‘Ok that’ll be about 45 minutes Ok thank you Uh huh’… Phone slams down. C’mon guys! It’s pretty much the same dialog every time I order. I love the food but let’s work on bringing our manners to work 8÷7÷14 The customer service is still shit… Got an order to go tonight. My salad & sides were thrown in a bag sideways, shoved in my face and didn’t receive so much as an F you… I’ll take my business elsewhere. Thanks :)

The coldest draft beer in Longview. That alone is enough to get 5 stars. The place is clean although not on the best side of town. There is no other pizza joint in Longview, all of East Texas, NWLA, that comes to this pizza standard. I cut the anchovies but loaded the pie. If they had an appetizer menu while you wait, now THAT would make it damn near perfect. Top Shelf. The service is pretty decent. … Have a beer(or three) while you wait. Cheers!
