Rescued Paws

Paula Stoddard, who helps run this animal shelter, is an outstanding person to deal with and to represent the rights and treatment of animals. We needed to meet with her to see if one of her foster-​dogs would work out for us. She met with us a number of times, coordinated any veterinary issues, answered questions, helped us out, always while meeting us at precisely the time and place we had agreed on. She was always where she said she would be, when she said she would be.
Her concern for animal welfare is obvious in all that she does. When the dog we adopted from this facility re-​met her after we had had him a week, he nearly went crazy to see her. He loved and remembered her. All her time, energy and plans are taken up with finding good homes for her charges. She goes to all lengths to ensure that her animal clients get everything that they need to end up in a happy «forever home». I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are lucky enough to deal with her, you will find your questions answered, your appointments met and your animals helped in their search for a better life.
