Sizzler

This place gets either a 3 or 4 stars depending on what you eat.
I would give it a 3 stars if you order like the chicken or steak to go with the salad bar. The entrees are mediocre at best. I had the chicken last time and it was too salty for my taste.
I would give them a 4 stars if you are just going to do the salad bar. The times that I’ve been there (including today for lunch), the items appear to be fresh and consistently restocked. The place is also pretty clean (again…from the times that I’ve eaten there). The service has always been pleasant and courteous.

Disgusting place. Had a roach walk across the counter and when I acknowledged it some Mexican lady grabbed it with a napkin and through it in the garbage. just left right there… oh my god. Not the place it once was

I haven’t been to The Sizzler in 20 years. Went back for lunch today, still tastes the same as it did two decades ago. Kind of a high-​end Golden Corral or OCB, judging by the buffet options and the apparent age of the clientele. I’m in my mid-​40s and I was the youngest person there by about 20 years.

There are very few burgers in my lifetime that I haven’t finished, but Sizzler’s burger tonight was the only burger I’ve ever just stared at and never touched. I honestly couldn’t do it. It looked that bad.
And why did my kid’s macaroni and cheese have f**king Goldfish in it? Even for a little kid, that’s pretty lowbrow.

Son’s favorite place to eat. He loves the meatballs. I love the price. The staff is friendly too.

Ate at Sizzler tonight. Shocked that an area with so many mainline stores has so few mainstream food options. Was pleasantly surprised at the selection and food quality. I would not, however, recommend the sautéed spinach. Or it could be that I was the first one who ever ordered it. It was really bad in my opinion. Salad bar was great.

Your standard Sizzler. I eat here with my parents every time they come out to visit. I usually have the steak, shrimp and salad bar. Every time I’ve been there my steak has been cooked correctly and I’ve greatly enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is clean and the staff is respectful and good at their jobs. Just a very good Sizzler in town and a good place to take the family.

So, the salad bar actually gets 3 stars… but I could not believe how HORRIBLE my steak was last night. My wife’s, was just as bad. It tasted just like they had it frozen far too long and over microwaved it. I didn’t even think is was ‘swalloable.’ The place was over all, quite messy and the service was subpar. I don’t critique much, but this was a very upsetting meal.
Also, off the record… what’s up with the awkward «art?» People can take better pictures with their phones, compared to what’s on the wall, there.

Had a salad bar buffet at lunch for $ 8+. Most memorable dishes are the cheesy enchiladas, imitation crab with msg& cheddar broccoli soup that will probably give you a heart disease. Although there’s not a lot of special foods, the price is good for a buffet.

Probably the grossest Sizzler I’ve ever eaten at. The meat tasted like it had been frozen, then microwaved. And a restaurant always loses points with me when they serve the dishes at different times. It makes you feel guilty until the rest of your party is served

Got in fast and sat down at a table and grubbed on the salad bar! Great food for the family. Everyone got what they wanted.

This place is terrible. I was sick after eating there, not from food poisoning just because the food was so terrible.

I was disappointed in the size of the steaks offered and they really weren’t cook well. Not a value meal for sure. My suggestion if you go here is to skip all the meals offers and just stick to the all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar includes pasta dishes such as spaghetti, Mexican food, and the traditional salad bar offerings that are worth your money.

This place gives you a lot of food but all are just so so food, not great.

Used to eat at Sizzler quite a bit in California. Hadn’t been to one in about 5 years and was pleased to see this location on our first trip to Longview. I was craving steak and all you can eat shrimp, and this fit the ticket.
This was easily one of the largest and nicest properties that I have been in. Huge seating area, very modern and funky décor with mood lighting and video monitors all around. It was a wee bit Bollywood, but damn it, that can be fun in the sometimes dreary Pacific Northwest. Very attentive service and good food at a decent price. Not the best steak place in the world, but for the price and variety (2 bucks more for the all you can eat salad /​entrée /​dessert bar) it is not a bad deal all in all.
Tatiana (awesome server with a gorgeous, exotic Russian accent) took care of all of our needs. Never had to ask for a thing, as she was right on top of it all. It looks to be the only Sizzler in Washington state and it really serves as a positive branding tool. Kudos to the owner of this franchise.

Lots of seniors but they know something because this Sizzler has good food and service.

OK so we stopped here for lunch today and well… I had the hibachi chicken with mashed tatos (YUCK) and the salad bar.
Since it was near lunch time there was a crowd of folks… I think they really did not have enough salad out for these lunatics that apparently had not eaten for a week prior to arriving at Sizzler.
The Appetizer bar has onion rings… night want to back away slowly (they taste/​smell like feet)… After that I could not bring myself to do the chicken wings so I have no idea how those were.
The salads are pretty good especially if you put it together yourself. The pasta salad on the other hand might have been lacking some key ingredient (taste).
You do get a ton of food. if by some chance all of your taste buds were burned out by some sort of freak accident and you are really hungry. this is the place for you.
The bright spot was the soft serve ice cream with cookies chunks sprinkled on top.

I have never been to a better Sizzler. As far as Sizzlers go this one is Great! Food is fresh, salad bar was clean.

Pretty terrible food… But you get a ton of it. Pay for an entrée and you get unlimited appetizers, salads and desserts. Weird clientele… But if nothing else, it was an experience I’ll remember for sure.

The salad bar is terrible. Discusting food in the salad bar. The entrees though are decent. I recommend the steak with bake potato.
