Whoever thinks this place is good is crazy. The fries were super greasy to the point where you couldn’t even eat them. The burger wasn’t to bad, but burgerfi is a lot better!

I don’t relish(ha) being right here. But as I predicted, the move from dogs to burgers was a bad one. Bite is now closed and gone.

Bite is now closed! Went to eat here and sign on the door said they couldn’t make it at this location.

The employees were pleasant. My burger combo was far from decent. I couldnt taste anything in my burger but the oil/grease it was cooked in. The fries… same issue. I couldnt even finish it. Rather disappointing since it had already been a while since I had a good burger. Going by other reviews, maybe this was bad timing as it was in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Still in no hurry for a 2nd try.

This is one of our favorite spots! Can be on the pricey side to feed the family, but worth it for the experience. Our little guy loves the rock n roll theme, and enjoys sitting out on the fenced patio watching the cars go by. They have lots of nice promos online and through their E-mail club. Staff and management is always super friendly!

I will tell you that I am a Vienna beef hot dog fan and Bite has one of the best in town, I have been coming to Bite from day one and I allways get a Chicago dog but I went in Yesterday and got a double burger and I will say it was as good as Five guys and Burger fi and cooked just right I will have to think hard about my next visit as what I will get Burger or dog and the fries are just as good

Service: Customer service was great, the owner was amazing and attentive, and this place was PACKED on a Friday earning morning lunch. That told me everything. The food runner wanted to top off our refills so we didn’t have to get up. They serve coke products and we got a beer as well, there is also fresh iced tea and lemon. Two burgers were had: both doubles with cheese, one with the sriracha mayo, lettuce tomato, grilled onions(your choice of red or white) and fresh, hand cut fries. Cooked pretty well, could have been a touch rarer — but they ask you how you like them cooked, so that’s on us, we ordered medium. Fries were fantastic, loved the draft selection. I got my burger green style — wrapped in lettuce, with their jalapeño maple bacon, barbecue and bleu cheese. Amazing taste explosion in my mouth. We’ll come back for the shakes and the hot dogs for sure. Get the bacon. Only taking off a star because adding on one strip of bacon for $.99 seemed a bit much. I have to say, with Sonic Drive-In right down the street and Burger Fi a few minutes down the road, this place is better than both. Cannot stress again how nice the staff were. Thank you for making our first time amazing amid a strong rush. We will absolutely be back, and are letting all our friends know.

Burgers are awesome. The Bite burger with sriracha mayo and maple bacon is great. I don’t really like maple, but it tastes more peppery than sweet. The burger is cooked to order with your choice of cheese(and the cheese super gooey!). The fries are also real good. I should of tried the dogs first, because with how much I like this burger I don’t think I can go to Bite and get anything else.

When Bite. originally opened it was a breath of fresh air to the typical burger joints in Central Florida. I revisited it since it changed owners(or whatever happened) and it was a ghost town. It only took a few moments to find out why. The friendly staff had been replaced with a group of people who couldn’t hold a conversation to save their lives. Not to mention the great, original hot dogs, had been replaced with so-so burgers. I know some people rave about them but they’re just pretty average burgers and there are better ones to be had in the area. When they were serving awesome hot dogs(Bloody Mary, Mashed Potato, etc.) it was a great place to visit and grab a bite that you couldn’t get any where else.

Bite free dessert frozen coupon for your bday-they used to give you a free hot dog coupon. Boo to change. It’s another long-lasting coupon, though(like Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has, too). Received it via e-mail on my bday and it does not expire until two months later. Frequent Biters Club, baby! Getting my discount on-Woot! Had the Oreo Concrete and it was perfect. Located in the industrial park section of 434 in Longwood. Bite is a small shop specializing in hot dogs, burgers, fries and shakes. Tip 1 — the jumbo dog makes a meal Tip 2 — do not wear a tie or white dress shirt Fries were fresh cut and awesome Southern slaw dog is a thing of beauty. The also specialize in rock and roll music, so I was able to enjoy some Zepplin and Floyd during lunch. Do youself a favor and find this place for lunch, you will not leave hungry.

Ok it’s been a little while since I revisited Bite, but tonight I was craving a great … BURGER, and they did not disappoint. I’d had a couple of their burgers as takeaways before but this was the first time I sat down and enjoyed one fresh. And what a burger it was! I’ll call it the Bacon Jalapeño Double Angus Bite Cheeseburger with all the trimmings. Every ingredient was high quality, including the buttered toasted bun(I think it was buttered. It tasted like it was.) That alone set this high class meat mountain apart from other casual burger joints, with their soon-turned-to-mush untoasted buns. I posted a photo. Check it out. It’s enough to stop traffic. Sure, they don’t put as many of their world class fries in the basket as they used too, but that only means you can’t share them anymore. Frankly, eating alone, there were still plenty. You have no idea how difficult it is for me to walk into Bite and not order a Jumbo Chicago Dog, but next time I’m craving a burger, you’ll find my scooter parked right outside their door.

I wish Bite continued success because they are throwing down American classics properly. This was my first experience with a Chicago style hot dog and I gotta say… It’s one of the best dogs you can find. The quality beef dog and warm poppy seed bun create the perfect canvas for the other variety dogs that I’m sure to go back and try.

Bite is a great place to stop after a weekend little league game. I took my lady and kids here yesterday and was treated to one of the best lunches I have had in a while. My kids enjoyed some plain Vienna beef hot dogs, which they found acceptable. My lady had a tasty Carolina dog which would have probably been better without the chili. And I had an amazing double cheeseburger. That burger alone made the trip worth it. The people are friendly and fun, and the ambience is fun too. The food did take quite a while, but it was so piping hot and fresh I really didn’t mind. On the negative, the fries are a little less than impressive, which I could really care less about.

Chili cheese dawgs are my second favorite food. I’m sitting at the counter waiting on my dawg now, which is the Loaded Chili Cheese Dog Basket. Wups, my order is ready… OK, I’m sold. Fries are good and the dawg? KILLER. Chili with beans, cheese, onions, tomatoes, and sour cream.(I held the jalapeños, which is normally included on this dawg) I’m coming back to try the other dawgs and work my way down to the burgers. And do not forget the Banana milkshake. It’ll make ya wanna get on the roof.

Great Fries and Dogs! Better than Sonic or any other drive thru when you want something different. Chicago dog in spicy is great. Chili Cheese anything is great but get the beans and have the dog and the fries served up this way. The fries are just right in here. Still waiting for the corndogs but OK. THe atmosphere is clean and cool. Well designed. The help is of course mostly girls in short shorts and they look like they could all work at one of those italian ice places. Vinny the owner is a nice guy and talks to customers. Pretty cool over all. A nice change in pace from burgers. THe service is good. I read about others saying just OK or poor. I am sure those were true perceptions about particular occurences but the service is GOOD overall. I mean, its just hot dogs. Would like to see Frito Pie with corn dogs or just by itself, Open small bag of fritos, toss some cheese in it, pour chili into bag and eat out of the bag. Peter

Bite is a fun new hot dog joint in Longwood. The way the place decorated reminds me of a garage with bold colors and classic rock. The girls working weren’t overly friendly and seemed more interested in personal chit chat then great customer service. You can pick your dog(regular, large or spicy) and the dressings. Of course I tried the Chicago dog. It was good but the Vienna dog casing lacked the«snap» of some types. I’m not picky about this but I know some people are. I also tried the southern slaw dog(cole slaw, bread-n-butter pickles, onion strings, BBQ sauce, and jalapenos) which was really good too. I think I could have eaten 2 or 3 dogs plus fries! They have a bloody mary dog(tomatoes, green olives, celery, horseradish-pepper sauce, and celery salt) and roasted garlic mashed potatoes dog(mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and potato sticks) that both sound interesting. I agree with the others that the fries are the star. Fresh cut and perfectly crispy and salty. Yum! Prices are a little steep. Meals with fries and a drink will set you back almost $ 7, while a dog alone is over $ 3. Too bad they aren’t utilizing their drive thru window– that would be convenient! Overall a good experience. I can definitely see coming back here.

I think that everyone who has posted so far has covered the bases… top notch fries? yes, Yes, and YES! I don’t usually eat more than 4 – 5 fries when I go somewhere and somehow, me and my daughter cleaned up the entire portion in a very quick amount of time. service? with a smile from everyone behind the counter. my food came as ordered in a minimum amount of time. hot dogs? yes… I wish the dogs had a little more personality, but BITE does a good job trying to make the atmosphere unique. The standard Vienna Beef template runs rampant through the hot dogs, buns and possibly the Chicago-style condiments. To me, that’s not a strong point but the dogs ARE tasty in the end. The chili I had on my two regular hot dogs was OK. I haven’t decided if its from a can or not(my guess is yes) but it was nice to have an option with or without beans. personally, my heart lies here… or but BITE is much more convenient… I will be back often as time allows and I will be happy about it. If the hot dog thing falls through, the owners could open a euro style frietkots establishment and pump out the frites because, frankly, I don’t think I have ever had better. no joke.

I’m giving Bite a solid 3 stars. Not being from Chicago I can’t speak to it’s authenticity in terms of a Chicago style dog. I’m not a fan of unnaturally colored neon food. I prefer relish that doesn’t look like it has radiation poisoning. That being said, as a stand alone experience this was fine. Nothing mind blowing, nothing really special or unique — it was just a hot dog. I had a spicy kraut dog and it was tasty. Vienna beef hot dogs are not my favorite — although the spicy version at least had some good flavor. I like a dog that snaps when I bite into it and I like them garlicky. The kraut here was average and all they offer are chopped onions, not grilled. The bun is a very soft, fresh chicago style poppy seed. Truly the fries were the star of the meal — and the one place where they showed ingenuity. They were fresh cut and very crispy(I’m guessing double fried) with nice potato flavor. But I think, if you are a hot dog place, the dogs should really be the main event. If you wax poetic for Chicago style hot dogs then this place will probably tick all your boxes as that seems to be their target crowd and all the fixings cater to that genre. But if you are looking for a signature hot dog experience with incredibly flavorful well crafted dogs and interesting, thoughtful toppings you will be disappointed here. They do serve Coke products, though! ;-)

This place is as good as everyone says it is. The prices are a bit on the high end that is why i gave it only four stars but they deserved the four stars also because the service was really good and we arrived almost at 8pm and they still took our order and were very nice about it. I had the Chicago dog witch comes with peppers, mustard, onion, sport peppers, celery salt, and relish and finally to top it off tomato with a soft bun that had seeds in the out side… makes your mouth watery right? well yes it is that good and the fries are very good too, just as good as the ones at Five Guys and they are made in peanut oil just like they do at Five Guys but best part is they are made fresh to order making it better then the fries you get at Burger King or McDonalds. My complete meal was over $ 6.00 bucks(combo.drink, fries, hot dog) but if you want to «upgrade» you can get a dog that is larger for $.69 cents or spicy or stick with the normal for regular price. The place is kept very clean and I cannot express enough how great the employees were and before we left after they were already closed the had extra fries and offers us some free ones to go plus they came up to us and offer to get us more to drink and explain to us were there hot dog buns came from, they made us feel welcome and did not kick us out of the place like the they in other business. Service is one of the best parts about this place. I will definitely be coming back again soon to try there other dogs.
