You can’t go wrong with the French toast. My husband loves the Irish Omelet. 2nd time at M&M Café and still very pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. I haven’t had lunch here yet but breakfast with very worth the visit.

Food is fresh and tasty. Service is good also. My only suggestion is for the cook to change what type cooking oil being used. It gave the eggs an un usual taste

Great place for breakfast. Good prices. Excellent service. I had the veggie omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was very good. I’m a tea drinker and they had a really nice selection of Stash teas. They gave us free bread pudding — yummy! I would definitely come back.

We came here while waiting for my car service to be completed. We were slightly concerned with the bad reviews but pleasantly surprised. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chicken, avocado and chorizo and my friend the veggie omelette. Both were delicious and the service was wonderful. Only the butter on the toast was a little strange looking so my friend did not eat it ;) the breakfast potatoes were crispy and amazing :) Also the service was friendly and attentive, with free bread pudding to boot.

Definitely has a throwback diner appeal. Food is not sophisticated, but very favorable. The waitstaff were the nicest people and very eager to serve. Place was clean and comfy. Good for breakfast into the afternoon and will satisfy the kids.

Came here for the first time in a long time to give it another try. Food was cold and tasted bad. When food came out, it was mixed on the different plates. The server just told us to pass the toast around to get it to the right person. Server saw food was not eaten, and did not even acknowledge. Could not get server to fill drinks. Server never checked on us. I won’t be back again. Final note, they advertise senior discount. Don’t expect it. We had 2 seniors in our party. No discount.

I came for breakfast a few days ago with my parents for the first time. Cute place, coffee wasn’t as hot as we’d like it, but food was decent. I had the French toast, it was fair.

Food was ok nothing special. Biscuits and gravy tasted like frozen biscuits and canned gravy Staff was polite and good service.

Friendly faces, but that’s as far as it goes. Food is not good, not hot and very mushy. $ 32.11 for food not cooked right, flavorless and nasty. The only reason I put one star is because there isn’t a zero star option. Oh, Tom Jones cd is he only thing playing. 45 minutes of that and I want to go play in traffic on 434.

They hosted/catered lunch for an entire real estate class of 60+ agents. The sandwich was good, but I didn’t get a chance to try the coleslaw because everyone else got to it before me. I drive by this place to/from Northland church and I’ve never stopped, but now I will. Thanks again!

This was my third, and last time eating at Max & Meme’s. The first two times probably warranted a 2 or 3 star raiting, but my latest experience garnered the 1 star raiting. There was no compalints about the food on the first two visits, but the service could’ve used some work. Our serve, the same girl we had today, i believe her name was Candy. Her attitude is not one i would expect from soneone who’s income is based off tips. This most recent experience was a perfect storm of mediocrity. I ordered the scrambler with hash browns and wheat toast. My friend ordered a bacon and cheese omelet that came out burnt. My eggs were fine, a bit runny but that’s not a huge deal. My hashbrowns were cold and seemingly stale. My toast was closer to bread. And the coffee refill came around sparingly. When we went to pay, and i brought up that i didnt eat any of my breakfast she server said the best she could do was to take $ 2 off of our check, and she didnt have the authority to comp my meal. In conclusion the uncomfortable seating, dated upholstery, terrible music, unedible food, and the fact that I had to pay $ 10 for a meal I didn’t eat, are all reasons why I will never return to max and Meme’s.

The food here is okay. The prices were high compared to other places nearby. The coffee was not the best. We had someone new serving us, so it is hard to say if the service is good or bad. I think the menu is too big. I got an omelette, it was okay, the home fries were lacking. I personally would not go back, but maybe you will have better luck.

Eh. This place is just ok. We both got omelets, both were overcooked. The homes fries were pretty good and crispy. Appearantly they have weird rules about substitions. The place has kind of a cafeteria feel. Not awful but probably wouldn’t come back.

3 and a half stars. Place was decent for breakfast. A little mom and pop shop it seems like. Nothing spectacular but should stay in business for the home like feel and home style cooking. I would go here again but not before I try other places first.

We stopped in for the«no wait lunch», wanting to test the reality of the past reviews. The décor and music are a little reminiscent of grandma’s house. The service is amazing! Upon stepping up to the glass cafeteria style counter, the jovial chef explained the lunch offerings: «It’s delicious!». Our choices were served in a flour tortilla bowl rather than on a plate, neat! The home style cooking is what really brings it all together, then we really felt like we were visiting grandma. The mashed potatoes are real, the veg and gravy are great and both the pot roast and baked chicken we got rocked! The cashier came around and offered refills on our self serve drinks a couple times and also cleared our trays. To top it all off, free bread pudding! And all that for under 8 bucks. I call it worthwhile.

Having exhausted all of our normal places for lunch, we were looking for something new. We took a gamble on Max & Meme’s and, boy, did it pay off! The lunch was super fast, very well priced and, holy crap, was it delicious. I had the yankee pot roast, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables, served in a bowl made out of a flour tortilla. The meat was fall apart tender and extremely flavorful. The vegetables were well seasoned and well cooked. The mashed potatoes were made out of real potatoes. Enough said. After we finished the main part of the meal, we got a lovely treat of bread pudding. It was yummy, but would have benefited with the addition of a cream sauce or topping. The chef/owners/employees were super friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to go back and I can’t wait to bring more people!

We have eaten here before and weren’t really impressed with the prices and they seem to overcook a lot of their food. I noticed some omelets being delivered to the table next to us and they were brown and the hash browns were a shade away from being blackened. They didn’t look very appetizing at all. I ordered a BLT with macaroni salad. Again, a little too toasted and the bacon cooked a little too long. The waitress was very pleasant and nice but extremely forgetful. I asked for no lemon with my ice water, there was a lemon wedge on the glass. We asked for mayo on the side with our sandwiches and she forgot. Then we asked for more and she forgot again, finally bringing it when we were finishing our meals. On the way out we stopped at the front counter to pay and the same waitress was there holding a tray with food to deliver to a table on it, and she had her head turned looking for something, which caused her hair to lay on the food. The manager noticed, paused on his way to cash us out and brushed her hair off the tray and brought it to her attention. She then delivered the food to the table. That kinda grossed me out.
