Familiar and better than the coffee you get inside of the rock city. The cold brew is really worth a try.

NICE! I am not one to hang out in Starbucks because I don’t drink coffee, my husband does but only at home. My husband and I had some time to spare as we waited to enter one of the exhibits so we thought that we would give it a try. This Starbucks is perfectly located on top of Lookout Mountain where you are able to get a hot beverage before or after touring. I decided to have a cup of cold water and a slice of banana bread which was delicious! It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and a nice portion. My husband ordered a simple cup of coffee but was not impressed because it tasted bitter and seemed to have been heated too long. If you choose to visit this particular location please know that it is very small and seating is limited. Restrooms are located on the right side of the building, not inside. There is a nice warming fireplace with ample seating outside if you dare! Staff is top notch and very nice. Even if you don’t drink coffee, you will definitely want a slice of that banana bread and the water was great as well!

Great location. Staff was super friendly, they always get my order correct and it always tastes delicious. There are several places inside to sit as well as a patio area out front which also has a beautiful large rock fireplace. It’s conveniently located right across the street from Rock City and you can even take your beverage inside the Rock City area. We sat at the top and sipped on our hot Starbucks. It was very nice.

Compared to other location it’s a small store where the yserve the usual stuff. More outside seeting than indoors and no restrooms. For the restrooms you’ll have to visit the public(?) restrooms located near the entrancw of Rock City. Three stars because I’m a food snob. Especially about coffee. And let’s face it, nice store, good marketing, not to bad food, but coffee? Come on. It’s hot and black. That’s where the comparison ends. And I guess the store is open for a very long time because it seemed like the whole staff was in training. Friendly, but took an awfully long time. And please excuse any spelling or grammar mistakes. English is not my first language. And if that isn’t bad enough I have an Apple device that keeps trying to change English into ‘proper Dutch’. Yes, you’ve guessed right, my first language.

Adjacent to the entrance to Rock City Gardens sits this Starbucks proving that Starbucks is everywhere. Inside it’s just like any otther starbucks. Right in the door is the counter to order. They have pastries and muffins and such and all the starbucks merchandise for purchase as well. Off to the right is a small seating area. And since it is Starbucks, you know exactly what you are getting when you order your drink. Consistency is good. But I still can’t believe there’s a Starbucks on top of Lookout Mountain!
