Was a little bummed that the fries seemed like Ore Ida crinkle cuts, but everything was fresh & delicious. Great pairing up w/​Draga’s on their part.

I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and my husband ordered the hot dog while at the boat races at Camp Far West on New Year’s Day. We both ordered the shrimp pasta salad as a side. Wow! There were incredible flavors in everything and the food absolutely hit the spot. Very tasty!

The owner worked answered my questions about ingredients and when not sure made a suggestion on what to have. The tri tip sandwich and garlic fries are excellent. Highly recommend you eat at this food truck.

JJ’s BBQ is the best in town! No matter what I pick off the menu I’m not disappointed. My favorites are the tri tip sandwich and the salmon burger. On top of the great food, the owners of the truck are fantastic. They are such a friendly family and take the time to make everyone’s experience an enjoyable one. I follow them on Facebook now so that I can stay informed on where they’ll be during the week. I can’t wait to go back for more tasty food and great company!

Hung out at Dragas brewery and had jjs BBQ for the first time. Had the tri-​tip sandwich and it was amazing paired with an amber beer from Dragas. Also had some of their home recipe coleslaw, great stuff! A good beer and flavorful cooked bbq always a good combination. Will definitely try the rest of their menu in the weeks to come.

They came out for a rocklin thunder event and i have never seen or heard of them before. I tried the tri tip sandwhich with fruit and the pulled pork sandwhich with chips. Tri tip was so flavorful and came on a roll with some kind of aoili, and some produce. It was very tender and easy to chew. The fruit was very fresh and there was a wide variety. They also put a small cookie looking dessert on the side. I would buy a whole pack of those things! Yum! It tasted like cake, cookies and cornbread all at once! Tipped with powdered sugar!!! The bbq pulled pork came with coleslaw inside and it was awesome!!! I will be on the lookout for this truck!

Who wouldn’t stop at this cute, eye catching food truck? But then we ate– and it was AWESOME! So now we stop for the food– not just the truck– and the people who run it are so fun & friendly! So glad we stopped! And now we are followers of this yummy truck!
My Family can’t decide if the tri-​tip sandwich or the pulled pork is better. Both GREAT! Get there schedule– TOTALLY WORTH THE DRIVE where ever they are parked!

We have had JJ’s BBQ a few times now. Once at Goat House Brewery and a couple times over at Dragas Brewery.
Everything we have tried was absolutely great. The TRI-​TIP sandwich and the RIBS are definitely my favorites, but don’t forget to order the GARLIC FRIES too — they are fabulous! Oh, and my husband loves the WINGS.
We are always excited when we see their truck. We even started following them on Facebook so my husband would know which brewery he wanted to go to.
If you love BBQ, this is a must. The owner and his family are always so nice…

I paid good money for boiled ribs, absolutely no smoke ring and the pit was completely cold so it was not even being used, I guess it was just there for looks. Very disappointed. If you have a nice pit then why are you not using it?

The family and I decided to hit up the goat house brewery but heard this new food truck had been parking here and that was my main reason for trying the brewery… glad we drove out here because this whole Roseville/​Lincoln area short on great BBQ.
You could smell how delicious this place is as soon as you turn onto the road and the smokers going on the back of the food truck. The family and I could not wait to dive into some great BBQ food. I went all in and tried the JJ’s special with ribs, pulled pork, Tri tip and your choice of a side. I went for the cole slaw with bacon and what can you say everything is better with bacon. We also had to try the onion rings as well to round out the meal. The girls went for the pulled pork sandwiches with fries. Everything was so delicious and the service was awesome all family ran and operated.
The rubs and smoke flavor where so delicious and they have 2 different types of BBQ sauces and my favorite was the spicy. All the meats where so good and of course my favorite where the ribs that just fell off the bone, but the pulled pork sandwiches where also awesome! My suggestion would be is to follow these guys on Facebook and track there next location I know I will.
