Spec – West Loomis

The Husband and I came to Spec West at the advice of our landscaper to pick out a concrete stain for the new concrete patio, pad and walkway he poured for our backyard.
The building was easy to find right off the main road, and there are a few parking spots in front for customers. It’s nice that they are open for a few hours on Saturdays for those who work Monday through Friday but they are closed on Sundays.
The inside of the building is rather small, but they specialize in concrete materials so I don’t think it needs to be any bigger than it is. We were mainly there to look at the concrete stamps and stain which we easily found and picked out a color that we liked which when our landscaper came to pick it out the next day, found out it was special order only. Why they cannot carry a handful of additional stains in stock (but have them displayed with no signage) I don’t know. Our landscaper ended up picking out a different color for us which was fine.
I would come back to Spec West again if we needed any more concrete work done on our house, and I would recommend them to any friends that did as well.
