Woodall’s Self Defense

When I was looking for a martial arts school for the kids I had no idea what the differences were between types of schools. I just wanted something useful that would teach my daughters practical skills for their safety in the real world, and give them a sport they would have fun doing. I’m so glad now that I didn’t pick a school that taught kata. The instructors were amazing, and I know my girls have learned exactly what I was hoping they would. It’s now 12 years later and we’re still there, with a host of lifetime skills under our belts. My daughters call Woodall’s their «second family,» and I agree.

Best Self Defense Studio in Northern California hands down!!! I have two daughters (a tween and teen) who have learned more about self defense than I ever did with several years of college Taekwando. Conrad Woodall and his staff are professional and extremely qualified. They teach tactics for the real world — this is not a «belt factory»! If you have children, teens or adults that you want to have the skills to take care of themselves in the real world, PLEASE consider Woodalls. We can’t say enough positives about the entire staff. We have been going here for over two years now and even though it is a commute from West. Roseville, it is well worth the time and gas $$$.

I met Conrad Woodall a few years ago at an event through Stand Up Placer. I was so impressed by him and could not wait for my 2 year old daughter to turn 7 so she could start his program. We began her lessons in December of 13. She LOVES them. We never have to push her to get ready. We simply say lets go and she is in the car and ready to go. The instructors are respectful and command respect. They keep the lessons fun and informational. My daughter not only learns how to defend herself but she learns about «tricky people» and how to deal with tricky people. I am happy that we have taken the steps to find the right place and fit for our daughter to learn how to take care of herself. I wouldn’t trust my Baby with just anyone.
