Work It Out!

New name and improved. New equipment and work out classes really challenge me. I like the appointment system and it keeps me motivated to keep going. I am planning on a massage in about a week. It is a cozy place but I prefer this than the big intimidating gyms and I love Loomis. Good place if you are starting out cardio fitness or getting back into it. Memberships are available and the classes are great.

I originally came in after buying a Groupon for 2 massages and have since become a regular client. Melody is easily able to work out the various aches and pains I get from work or working out/​running. She applies the right amount of pressure each time. Her online booking system makes it very easy to schedule appointments.

Love the hot stones and the amount of aromatherapy was perfect. Excellent leg stretching, and perfect pressure.

I came in with the groupon deal as well, and I’m so glad I did, otherwise I would have never found her. Great massage– and I’m also a massage therapist. I work with 7+ other massage therapists who are all excellent, but sometimes it’s nice to get out of my work environment.
She did a very thorough consultation in her office, which I thought was a nicer way than doing it in the treatment room.
The massage itself was very good, she used a minimal amount of aromatherapy, and used hot stones during the massage on my back. Excellent leg stretching, and perfect pressure.
After the massage you again go into her office where she gives you her recommendations for stretching, posture, exercise, etc. I rebooked another massage with her.
You do have to wait awhile before she has an opening, I think she got flooded with new clients when she ran the groupon. But it is well worth the wait!

I purchased a groupon and WOW — I’ve received more value than I ever could have imagined. I have had massages for years and I would actually rate Melody in my Top 2, ever. The massage was so wonderful — I HIGHLY recommend Physical Connections. The online booking process was great too, that way I was able to see her schedule, «hem & haw» on my own about days/​times, then ultimately schedule — VERY easy!
I was so pleased with the client oriented service that I decided to try Melody for Personal Training sessions too. I’m only a few sessions in, but if you are looking to get established with a quality service provider for massage or training — I really can’t say enough about Melody!

This was probably the most bazaar massage I have ever received. She used way too much aromatherapy oils (literally splashed it on me right out of the bottle undiluted!) and did not work on any sore areas which are pretty standard I think for most people such as the neck and shoulders. Zero pressure. She claimed to have training in a stretching technique however I felt no stretch whatsoever… whats the point?
She wanted to spend time doing an «intake» when I got there but instead of talking about my issues, she went on and on about her training and then complained about Groupon customers and was upset I did not arrive 15 min early for my appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early because I got off work a little late. Sorry, that’s life! It was funny too, she asked me not to say anything during the massage so she could «focus on her craft» wow…

Found this on groupon and very happy with my massage. She did a great job and I learned a few things of how to relax better during the massage. Think about anything but the massage so she can do her job. I was so relaxed. Well worth trying.

I found Melody via groupon and could not have been happier with my experience! She is very experienced and knowledgeable in numerous modalities.
Her: Excellent pressure and responsiveness, wonderful stretching techniques, great incorporation of hot stones & towels, very kind
Studio: Easy to find, relaxing massage room, note that building door locks at 5 so for later appointments if you arrive early you may wait outside until she finishes with current client (if she is with client). Both times, however, she came and got me at least 15 minutes before my appointment.

My husband and I used her Groupon for a 60 minute massage and we loved our experience. Melody was really accomodating and her communication was fantastic. She seems to be very experienced and works hard to give you the best service possible. I loved my massage and liked the different techniques she used, like hot stones and incorporated stretches. She gave me some useful tips and information before and after my massage and created a very comfortable environment. And I love her online appointment booking!

Physical Connections is amazing! Melody knows her stuff. She is great at listening to what you want/​need and helping you. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
