I love this bookstore! Thoughtfully curated, the sections are demarcated by handwritten signs hanging from the ceiling above each shelf. The books are presented like individual gems. There’s no row of a single book in this shop! A mixture of classics, new releases, best sellers and critically acclaimed books, there is something for everyone. I either owned, had read, wanted to read, had heard of or was intrigued by every book on the shelf.
It is a wonderful place to browse and a fantastic place to pick up a new book to read. Or a used one. The used books, which are very gently used, are marked by a discreet stripe on the spine so as not to interrupt the flow of the presentation. This isn’t a dusty shop with books haphazardly stacked everywhere, this is a shop run by people who love books and it shows.
The cozy and attractive space has the air of excitement when a box is being opened with new books. It was quite busy when I was there and the children’s book room was filled with kids picking out future treasures. Another room is devoted to the ever popular mystery and thriller genre. I can’t wait to read the book I bought and return for another one!
