The people are very nice and take the time to answer questions and even help less experienced shooters. Because of them my wife is now shooting.

This is a great locally owned gun shop that has a small indoor shooting range with 8 stalls. They range is usually pretty busy on the weekends, especially if the weather is bad out. During a weekday, they charge $ 8 for 30 minutes or $ 10 if you’re sharing a stall with 2 people. On weekends, it’s $ 10 and $ 12 respectively. Pretty cheap and they have a wide variety of targets to chose from! I do wish that they had a little better ventilation in the range though… those lead fumes aren’t good for ya. haha Oh, they also offer yearly club memberships and they do teach CCW courses.
The guys that work there are very cool and knowledgeable. Andy is fun to talk to and knows a lot about every gun they carry. This last time he even didn’t charge us for range time or the 7 targets we bought! Such a swell guy! I’ve bought 2 of my guns from them and their prices are very good (way cheaper than Gander Mountain) and they’ll match Fin Feather & Fur’s prices! They matched their price for the Ruger SR22 that I bought a few years ago. Always try to barter with them to knock $ 10 or $ 20 off the price… you never know how much they’ll sell it for. With every firearm purchase, you get a card for a free 30 minutes of range time! How about that!

My boyfriend and I recently picked up shooting as a hobby and we were looking for an indoor range to go to during the winter. One of our friends introduced us to B&T and I’m glad he did!
B&T may not be located in the greatest of areas of Lorain, but seriously, you’re going to a shooting range and have a gun with you… it will be ok! Get there early or you’ll have to wait for a lane, especially on Saturday mornings. We usually get there about thirty minutes before they open and wait outside until they let us in so we don’t have to wait.
The range has six lanes and can be «rented» by the half-​hour. You can also rent guns and ear/​eye protection. They will ask for a state ID for lane rental so make sure you bring yours! Their prices for lane rentals are as follows:
Monday — Friday
One Person Per Stall: $ 8.00 per ½ hour $ 12.00 per hour
Two Person Per Stall: $ 12.00 per ½ hour $ 18.00 per hour

Saturday — Sunday
One Person Per Stall: $ 10.00 per ½ hour
Two Person Per Stall: $ 15.00 per ½ hour
Memberships are available if you plan on going more often. They will run you $ 250.00 per individual or $ 300.00 per family. The membership includes: one hour of range time per day, $ 1.00 off center fire ammo and $ 7.00 discount off weekly shooting leagues.
The store portion of B&T also has a lot to offer. They have a variety of new and used guns for sale as well as a decent stock of ammo, eye/​ear protection, targets, cleaning supplies and other accessories.
The employees and salesmen are all very knowledgable, helpful and nice. Don’t worry if it is your first time… I was so nervous the first time I went because I didn’t know what to expect and everyone was very helpful. If you have any questions, just ask!
So, if you are looking for an indoor shooting range in the Lorain County area I highly recommend giving B&T a whirl!

My experience was quite different than the first reviewer. Not being a shooter but wanting to give it a go, we went there not really knowing what to expect.
The counter attendant was definitely a no-​nonsense kinda guy but I would expect that in this sort of establishment. He quickly realized we didn’t know much about what we were doing (but that we were taking it seriously) and was quite helpful in helping us pick out what we needed. He even followed us into the range to show us how to load and proper holding technique. The people shooting around us were quite friendly too and even as newbies, we felt quite comfortable.
They rent guns at a reasonable rate but I think if I make frequent return trips, I want to invest in my own. They also supply targets @ around 2 bucks but again, I might shop around for next time. Basically, they have everything you need if you just want to try it out and get comfortable. Then you can decide for yourself where to go from there.

I was in Ohio visiting family and decided to stop here with a buddy of mine. They were very courteous on the phone and in person. It was my friend’s first time shooting and they were patient and helpful in guiding him towards a rental. The clerks were conversational and not rude or overly opinionated, even when discussion turned to gun laws in Illinois (where I live).
The store is very well stocked, with a wide variety of firearms and accessories. They stock many quality major brands and offer a nice selection for rental and purchase.
The range is good, but nothing special. The costs are reasonable and you are able to shoot your own reloaded ammo. It was quite cold on the range, though — cold enough that I kept my winter coat on. The lighting is good and the equipment works fine, so no worries. I found it a bit odd they didn’t have standard round bullseye targets, and only had some oval targets and silhouettes.
I’d definitely go back here if I was going past the area again.
