Lorain Port Authority – Black River Landing

This was a beautiful and very large area to host Roverfest. The view of the boats in the river was peaceful.

The area I grew up in, I’ve seen it change so much over almost 50 years, unfortunately, most of it for the worse. But, that’s not for the review.
I admire and love the historical aspect of it, dating back over two centuries, and with the area, it has to be even more than that. Very tranquil and refreshing, if you need/​want to relax and unwind, this is a great place to do it. If you time it right, you’ll be able to watch a freighter going out or coming into port.
The Lorain International Festival was here the year I was in town, and I hope it continues. Parking can be a rarity if you don’t want to pay for it, and being creative and inventive combined with an eagle’s eye will get you a prime spot near the entrance.
