I saw the Lorain County Ironmen of the Prospect League play here a few years back. I was on a baseball trip with a friend around the Cleveland area when we ventured to The Pipe Yard. It wasn’t hard to find once we drove by a few fields (which we dubbed «sandlots» due to their poor appearance) that we mistakenly thought might be The Pipe Yard.
There isn’t too much beyond the entrance but when you’re watching guys play the game just because they love it, the location becomes irrelevant.
