This place was very cozy! The wine was delicious. I did the 8 tastings for $ 5 and ended up walking away with a bottle of white wine(I never buy or drink white wine). Outside was very quiet and beautiful. Our service was friendly. I will go back again when I return to Oregon.

Really pretty location nestled in the middle of nowhere with beautiful lake and scenery. The wine was pretty good and service was fantastic. The server was fantastic, And extremely knowledgable. One of the more interesting things is, That this is one of the few if not only winery that does not grow there own grapes. They buy all grapes from other vineyards in Oregon & Washington. The tastings are extremely inexpensive and fun 8 wines for $ 5. It is a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip

A beautiful place, tucked into the woods, with the beautiful Lake Lewis right along side the building. The wines were a series of varieties, I actually got to try mead for the first time and I loved it. The service was polite and knowledgeable, we were the only people wine tasting that day, so we have a wonderful conversation about other wineries in the area. She was also accommodating. I’m not big on wine, mostly the reds, they are too bitter for me. So she was kind enough to recommend a series of lovely white wines that were more to my tastes.

We had a good time here. The lady serving us was knowledgable and friendly. We did the 8 wine tasting for a whopping $ 5. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay and that she paired chocolate with the red wine. It was practically dead when we came, so we got great service!

I love Château Lorane. They make the most interesting wines. The owner is frequently in the tasting room explaining where he finds these odd(for our region) varietals. My husband and I are big time oenophiles. It’s great to try wines that are outside of the scope of the west coast varietals. It’s true that there are better pinots out there, but the prices for these neato wines are just right. Château Lorane has a lovely tasting room with gorgeous scenery. The staff is always friendly and courteous as well. So this is why they win. We had terrible weather leading up to Christmas last year. I was trying to order a wine shipment for a friend that was leaving the country for the holiday. Even though they were snowed out of the winery, the owner had a few bottles at his house. He made a special trip just to ship two bottles for me. What a sweetheart.

Château Lorane is great. I really loved the Muscat and Pinotage they served us, and 8 wines for $ 2 is a great deal. I don’t know if they specialize in dessert wine or not but there was a lot of sweet wine. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and nice, and it wasn’t too crowded at all. Also, there is a nice porch with outside tables and a beautiful view of the lake.

Location: Despite being only 14 miles from town, it takes about 35 minutes to get here and I needed GPS. The directions that I was given said follow signs, but they entrance is not very clear. Wine: They have a case with a bunch of awards, but all of the wine I tasted as not that great. Tastings are only $ 2 or free with most hotel stays. Service: I was not impressed. Our server was condescending with my questions about wine and mead and showed absolutely not interest in me as a customer. If I didn’t have a personal rule about buying at least one bottle per tasting I would have walked out on her. The location is beautiful and has plenty of outside seating. If not for the scenery, this place would get 1 star.

The server accidentally dumped wine all over the front of my dress and they have refused to take care of the matter. They offered me some of their wine to make up for the ruined dress, but I didn’t like anything they have. There are lots of great(ethical) wineries near this one… I would just keep driving.
