Chose to go here while on I-84 on a road trip instead of McDonald’s or Subway. Hands down a much better choice. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich. It was hot with a lot of cheese on a fresh roll. The place could have been a little bit cleaner and the gentleman working didn’t have a super outgoing personality, but after being on the road for a few days, it was a welcome meal rather than greasy fast food.

Stopped at Ellen’s for lunch on the way from CO to NH and what a treat is was to find an alternative to Subway so close to the interstate. The food was delicious and the lady working there was funny. I can recommend the homemade chicken soup and the Italian sandwich. They don’t accept credit cards but do have an ATM.

Stay far away from this Deli, go to Ryan’s right across the street instead. I went to Ellen’s once or twice before Ryan started doing breakfast all day on weekends(used to end at 11am). The bread products are the same because they order them from the same company. The rest of the food is better at ryans. It just has a better fresh taste. Ellen, the owner, has never seemed friendly when I have gone in there. The place never looks clean, and the coffee is burnt. Some of the worst breakfast food around
