This is a GREAT Urgent Care center. My infant was running a fever and they treated her kindly, professionally and with so much care. This is what a doctor’s office should be like. We are going to start going here for our Primary care needs going forward. Everyone has amazing bedside manner and made us feel welcome.

Dr. Mennen wasn’t in. The receptionist said there was a family emergency in the morning. Understandable, but I should have been notified by her or Zocdoc(the site I used to schedule the appointment). I got reminders from Zocdoc via email(and a text on the day of the appointment). I wasn’t even in the calendar when the receptionist checked.

I was nervous to go to this location as I usually go to the Urgent Care in Fairfax Station by the CVS. I had a great visit. I got in right away. I saw Dr. Mennen. He was very nice, very knowledgeable. He took his time and explained everything to me. I think I will start going here instead of Fairfax Station.

Under new management, and new doctors starting July first. You will not recognize this place!

First of all, we got into a fender bender in the parking lot. While waiting for the police to arrive, my sister asked to use their bathroom. They told her she had to use the bathroom at the Food Lion. This was with their office manager at the front desk. The waiting room was sparse. The reception was perfunctory, if not slightly chilly. There weren’t any other patients, but I still waited a while even after filling out the paperwork. I was being seen for acute migraine. The doctor was very warm and polite, but kind of danced around, telling me to take more of my current migraine medication.(I had already taken plenty.) She finally had to admit that they were out of Toradol. From the conversation overheard between her and the office manager, it seemed like they’d been out of stock for a little while. The doctor didn’t offer an alternative pain medication that I could pick up at a pharmacy. Being that migraines are one of the top reasons why people miss work and visit urgent care facilities, I’m surprised they don’t keep it stocked. I asked for my copay back. This required a conversation with their office manager, who was very rude, but finally acquiesced. She felt the need to made it clear that they would still be billing my insurance company.(Why would you bother mentioning that?) If they’re trying to cut costs, they’re doing so in the wrong places, and compromising the quality of their service and their own image. I suggest that they revisit their office management.

Hidden gem in Lorton! Hard to find, but it’s near the post office and DMV. Short wait and great care. They even sent my prescription to the pharmacy so it would be ready for me to pick up. They offer primary care too, which I am thinking about because their hours are more convenient than my regular doctors office.

This place must’ve changed ownership as I went last Sunday and I have nothing but good things to say. There was a 10 min wait on Sunday morning. the Dr. was very attentive and sent a prescription straight to my pharmacy. It was nice to see a Dr. who actually listened. He also took my blood work and got it on the first try(I have very small rolling veins). Highly recommend.

Really bad. The doctor here doesn’t know what he is doing. My husband was so sick and he promised to send a Rx to our pharmacy, he never did. They didn’t respond to my phone call asking about it, they are just awful. Don’t go. Total waste of money — he went to our normal doctor the next day and got a complete different diagnosis, and found that they prescription the doctor never sent wouldn’t have helped anyway. The urgent care on Silverbrook Road isn’t amazing, but it’s MUCH better than this one.
