Flags With A Flair

Love this store, BUT too bad every time I go in there the ladies are completely rude to me and make me feel unwelcome. Never have I felt that maybe because I’m black or may give off the appearance of not having money would effect the service I get at a store. Little do these women know I can afford anything at that store. I walked up to buy a heart shaped planter and she looks at me and said that’s $ 50.00 (she looked shocked that I wanted to buy it and hesitated to ring me up) and I said ok that’s fine, is it for sale? She said yeah but most people balk at the price (she had an attitude). Clearly she didn’t think I’d pay that.
Well guess what, I’m black and I don’t care how much it cost. I reached in my Gucci purse pulled out my Louis Vitton wallet and bought it! Suddenly they were chit chatty.
Got the same exact treatment at the store next door, young couple didn’t greet me and quickly put their heads down, not welcoming at all. Probably would get more sales out of all those shops if the employees would stop gossiping with eachother and actually engage with shoppers and TRY to SELL!!!
I didn’t care the price, it was exactly what I was looking for to give my sister as a gift as she collects heart rocks.
So next time you judge a book ladies, you better hope you’re right because you will never get. Sale from me.

Buyer beware!!! Don’t spend your money at this store. They do not give returns on anything. Beware their flags are over priced by at least $ 10.00 a flag. I tried to explain that to the clerk she said she could care less and knew their flags were price inflated. Not once when I bought the flags did they say no refunds. They should make sure anyone purchasing knows the policy. This store is a rip off. Don’t buy a flag from them. You can get the same flag half their price at Alan paper company. This store just wants to take your money. The clerk could care less she ripped me off she actually laughed because she knew they were way more than anyother place. I will never recommend them and will make sure all social media knows they rip you off. I will tell anyone in the area not to shop at Flags with a Flare. This store is a rip off. They never offered the 10% for first time shopper. They just want to rip off the customer.

The cutest store, old house with stuff in all the rooms… And a beautiful back yard filled with everything from hummingbird feeders to fairy garden furniture. Great place to bring a friend to lunch and shop at all the charming stores. This little shop was my favorite

love this store simply because they carry the best candles ever: Trapp.
Only place in the area that carries these gems. Bobs Flower Shop and Lemon Grass Verbena are delightful.

Great store with great service! I asked for a specialty item and they had it ordered and delivered within 2 days.

I went to this store looking for a cute Back to School flag with my children. From the moment I entered the store, it was clear we were unwelcome guests. The store clerk proceeded to ask me if she could «help me» in the most condescending tone. I pointed that out to her to which she was quick to point the finger right back at me. Terrible customer service! I will not return to this store again. Take your business to the flag store on Main Street in Seal Beach (Up, Up & Away). They were great!

Always cute stuff to find that I did not know I needed to own. Great place to pick up gifts for friends and family. I usually pop in when I am next door to eat at Shenandoah’s. I do have quite a flag collection for flying from my house but it is so much more than flags.

Very deceiving name. This place is full of nick-​nacks, knick-​knacks, chotchkies, trinkets, curios, bric-​à-​brac, souvenirs, novelty, baubles, gewgaw, and gimcrack.
Stuff for your garden, your home, your pets, you, your friends, family, whatever. There’s something for everybody.
Flags, candles, bird feeders, chimes, waterfalls, garden gnomes, paintings, soaps, bath salts, figurines, dog bowls, cat statues, piggy banks, crosses, frames, wine glasses, cheese serving trays, wine stoppers, OH MY GOD IT NEVER ENDS! EVERY EFFEN CORNER THERE’S SOME SORT OF ODD THING TO LOOK AT!
It’s amongst a few stores next to Shenandoah by the Arbor restaurant in a converted old house. You need some sort of last minute gift for that hard to shop person this is the place. I’m giving this store 5 stars in the knick – knack category. I personally would never come here if it wasn’t for my wife dragging me along!

A nice little American shop with lots of cool nic-​nacs. What started out as a flag shop has becaome a mom and pop Hallmark style shop.

This is the type of shop my mother loves to come to. She loves to buy their unique garden supplies and decorations. If you love the old school country good ol’ American shops, come check it out. It is also right next door to a fabulous little restaurant. Cheers!

I love this store. Don’t pay attention to the name: They have a LOT more than flags.
It’s filled with all sorts of cute knick-​knacks, and like Elizabeth said before me, you’ll have no trouble find something for anyone female. My favourite wallet came from here. There’s also a cute back room with all sorts of dog and cat collectibles, if you’re an animal lover like me.
The only critique I have with this place are the prices: I think they could be a little lower. Still a real cute boutique, though.

With Mother’s Day rapidly approaching, I’d like to put out the word about Flags with a Flair. This cute little store is PERFECT if you’re not sure what to get your Mom, friend, aunt, sister, grandma, or mother in law. Unless Grandma’s into goth, you’re pretty safe going here and finding something in a breeze. You may even find a treat for your dog or cat!
Helpful staff, great prices and they will even gift wrap your purchase. And don’t be fooled by the name, they have way more than flags! From wall plaques to cute magnets to jewelry to purses, you’re guaranteed to find something to put a smile on your special lady’s face.
