Kim Hannaford DDS

Someone recommend this dental office and I am glad they did. I love the staff and the dentists! They are kind and professional. I went for 2 fillings and I didn’t have to wait, they took care of me right away. I will definitely recommend this place.

Fast in and out with a real no-​nonsense feel. They didn’t try to upsell me anything, the hygienist had soft hands and was very kind and professional, the dentist was straightforward and quick. New client paperowrk xryays, cleaning, and consultation for a crown all within an hour. Not once did I feel any pain; not in the chair nor the pocketbook. Will definitely be staying with Dr. Hannaford’s office from here on out… Also had television to distract you while in the chair if you need it.

I have been seeing Dr. Hannaford for my dental needs for many years. For a brief while I tried out dentists closer to home and that’s when I really began to appreciate him. He is very competent, pain is always minimal, his work is excellent and he’s a nice, affable guy. That’s the imost important stuff. As to staff, kind and friendly, he accepts insurance plans and never sells a procedure I don’t need. Here’s the most important of all: he is trustworthy and I do trust him. Big words when we’re talking about dentists, who work so very close to nerves exquisitely capable of agony. Selfishly, I like to keep this guy a secret as his calendar fills up fast. But this is me in a moment of brotherly love. ;)

There is inherently something tough about Unilocaling a dentist. I think it has to do with the fact that I can’t think of anyone that really enjoys the experience so right away I go into this review with some negativity.
That being said I think that Dr. Hannaford is a very competent and easy going dentist. I feel very comfortable in the chair with him and would add that his staff is very friendly. I especially like the new hygienist who is very nice and is careful to not cause any unnecessary pain.
If you have ever experienced an uncarring hygienist you will understand the importance of my last statement.
The other good thing about Dr. Hannaford is that his office takes most Dental plans which comes in handy when you have kids. They also try very hard to squeeze you in if you have an emergency.
The only criticisms and you might say they are very minor is that the décor in the office is a bit dated and parking can be very tough but like I said if you have to go to the dentist Dr. Hannaford is a good choice.

By far the best dentist I have ever been to. Really goes out of his way to take care of your needs. I now live in San Diego and it’s worth making the drive to see him.

Been going to this office for a few years now and I doubt I could pick out Dr. Hannaford from a lineup (he’s always wearing a mask). I could’ve selected from a bunch of dentists in the area but I ultimately went with him since I was partial to his UCLA/​Stanford pedigree.
The front office personnel are nice. Dr. Hannaford is very capable and professional. I really like the hygienist I see regularly (wish I knew her name, relatively short, young brunette with a very pleasant demeanor). I took her for granted once when I saw another hygienist they had who was kind of a B. I catch more CNN at at this place for my semi-​annual check-​ups than I do the entire rest of the year.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hannaford for several years now and I’ve never had to wait more than two minutes for an exam. Dr. Hannaford and his staff are very friendly, but what I appreciate most is that they don’t try to appeal to my vanity and sell me expensive dental treatments that I don’t need. When I do need work, it is completed accurately and affordably. Try to book a couple of weeks in advance, as his schedule can fill quickly with happy patients =)
