Landis Steve Chiropractor

While I am sure I am making progress with my alignment etc, is a bit more aggressive than I have experienced in the past from other Chiropractors. However Steve is friendly and efficient, as well as his front office staff.

It’s been five years, but I still remember him. When my brother broke his arm (although we weren’t sure if it was broken or if the bone had just slipped out of its socket at the time), a neighbor recommended Dr. Landis to us.
My mom had actually taken my brother to another doctor first. That doctor poked and prodded at my brother’s arm, but couldn’t tell us what was wrong with the arm. My brother was in extreme pain, but my mom didn’t want to go to the emergency room if the bone had simply slipped out of the socket, because ERs take FOREVER. She figured someone else could pop the bone right back in if the arm wasn’t broken. At that moment, our neighbor called to suggest that we see Steve.
Although there were other patients (not to mention the fact that we didn’t have an appointment), the receptionist put our paperwork at the top of the pile immediately, even though she couldn’t tell what was wrong with my brother’s arm, either. We were ushered into one of the rooms and two minutes later, Dr. Landis came in. After asking a couple of questions and taking a look at my brother’s arm, he was able to deem that the arm was 100% broken– without even touching my brother’s arm! He suggested that we get to the hospital immediately for surgery, which is exactly what we did. I don’t even think he charged us for the visit… I remember going straight to the car and the hospital that Dr. Landis suggested.
Not only charming, but very friendly and patient (my mom was freaking out and can’t speak English either, so there’s always a lot of translating… it takes someone with great virtue to keep smiling genuinely through the whole situation). You can tell that Dr. Landis truly cares about his patients. So does his receptionist. His entire staff is extremely warm and makes you feel better, even if you’re caught in a horrible situation. After my mom calmed down, she wouldn’t stop raving about what an awesome doctor he is. Highly recommended doctor!
