I got there ten minutes after they opened. There were only 3 people waiting. I was politely greeted by the woman at the front desk and asked to sign in. I only waited for about ten minutes before they took me back. My phlebotomist was Sunny, she was amazing! From the start, I told her I was terrified of needles and cry every time. She was very good at making me feel comfortable and distracting me. She found my vein on the first try, it was quick and painless. I was in and out of there within 30 – 40 minutes.

In reading the previous reviews — I was not surprised to see how many people were in agreement with me on the total lack of humanity coming from the receptionist at this facility. I mentioned something to another person in the waiting area and she compared that woman’s personality to a brick wall. I thought she was being too generous. It is the first rule of business that the first person you meet represents your entire organization. This receptionist doesn’t know a thing about dealing with the public. She doesn’t smile or greet you with any hint that she gives a «____» as to why you are there. This was my first visit to Quest because it is covered by my insurance. The previous lab I used is no longer in business which is sad because they had people working there who knew how to work in a people business. The majority of Quest offices do not have Saturday hours which means if you have to take a «fasting» blood test — you need to take time off from work to do. Time off from work that you don’t get paid for. Quest — get your act together or else you too will go by the wayside.

Not even worth 1 star. Went in today to have my 8 y/o son´s blood drawn. He has important blood work that needs to be done. One order(out of 3) was being sent to Duke University. I asked the blood tech about it and she was confused. She looked at the papers I handed her and she didn’t have the order from the front desk. We went up to check out where the order was at the front desk. The front desk gal pulled it out of the TRASH. I asked her why it was in the trash, she said it wasn’t an order. I said it clearly says Laboratory Order. Long story short, they had to draw blood again. They made a mistake with my son’s name on the blood tube. I made her give me copies of everything I handed her. I asked her again, you are sending this to Duke University right? She said she couldn’t, she had to call her supervisor. She couldn’t get ahold off her. She then told me she had to call my son’s hospital. I made her give me that one tube of blood so I could send it myself. Do NOT go there!

If it wasn’t for the exceptional service I received from my technician, Nelson, I would rate this place with 1 star. The Asian lady at the front desk was beyond rude and unprofessional. For some people, getting their blood drawn is a terrifying experience and given the fact that I had to have my blood drawn prior to a surgery; I was definitely under a bit of stress. She needs a crash course in kindness and customer service because she really should not have anything to do with the health CARE field.

They told me the wait would be 10 minutes and it took 45 min, then I had to call my doctors office to get them to fax over the paperwork. The receptionist couldn’t be bothered to check for my record that the doctor had sent over electronically.

Closed for lunch from 1−2pm. Would’ve been nice if that was on their website. It’s close to work, since I can’t take off an hour due to my security job(pretty much have to scheudule appointments, classes, etc. before or after work hours). I was only expecting to have blood drawn, but of course, I had to also give a urine sample. Great, not an hour after I used the gents, the technician tells me that. Of course, my doctor didn’t. So I’m drinking like a horse from the fountain and practically gave blood, sweat and tears, along with my urine sample. Not fun. TMI? Yah, well inquiring Unilocalers want to know!
