Consistently good restaurant in Los Alamos. One of my favorite dinner options is the eggplant Napoleon. Nice flavor and perfect texture. I typically take out-of-town guests to Blue Window if it’s their first time in Los Alamos. My only complaint is that they’re not open for lunch on Saturday and they’re closed on Sundays.

The Blue Window is always a great place to have a great meal. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. They have great prime rib and crème brûlée for dessert. If you are in the mood for a burger or more fancy meal, this place satisfies both requirements. The ambiance of the restaurant and the wonderful staff make it a highly enjoyable place to relax and dine. Sometimes it’s hard to get a seat quickly, but you can call ahead and make reservations. And there is plenty of parking so you don’t have to worry about that.

Blue Window catered a Christmas cocktail party for us last night and it could not have been better. We had short rib sliders, calypso shrimp, polenta cups, brie, and a very good red pepper cheesecake– oh and a rainbow-arranged crudite platter, caprese sticks and cheese straws(which were great with the cheesecake). The cost was $ 500 — our normal party budget is $ 400 so that was right where I expected it to be and a way better deal in that I didn’t have to do the cooking and could make cookies with my daughter instead. They delivered at 430 so I had an hour to warm things up– we had 25 guests and had ordered food for 20 so the amount was perfect(we have some leftovers but nothing crazy). The kids crushed the veggie tray and we ordered them a cheese pizza so they were happy, which means their parents were relaxed and happy too . All in all a lovely evening where we were able to enjoy our guests and share some great food on Christmas Eve. Thank you Blue Window for more good memories !

Great spot! Cute, New Mexico décor, big menu with lots of different items, energetic and friendly waitstaff. We had the salmon tacos, vegetarian chili, lamb sandwich, and mulligatawny soup. All the food was fresh, super tasty, unique, and with huge portions. Highly recommended!

This appears to the the most highly recommended restaurant in town. The décor is fairly cute with a southwest feel. The table is sticky! When I ask my male and seemingly the only waiter in house, what is good, he said everything! Great, everything is good? I Just hope the food is better. Well the French dip is not made with prime rib… it looks and tastes like a philly cheese steak with pre-sliced beef that comes in a box. The soup which is yellow tastes like curry with tons of milk. The salmon taco was ok but I like sauce that came with it. Over all, this is just an over rated restaurant and I feel sorry for the people of this town if this is the best restaurant.

Blue Window is back at five stars where it belongs. I don’t need to talk about the food again, save to say that it’s just as good as it’s ever been. Today, however, we were served by Leah, who was both incredibly friendly and attentive. The owner also stopped by to tell us hello and ask how everything is. It was a wonderful turn around from my last review, and I’m happy to change my rating.

Unilocal never fails me while on the road. What a nice little restaurant. The staff was beyond the nicest we have ever come across, the ambience for lunch was energetic and quiet at the same time and the food and drink was very good and priced well.

Amazing Buffalo Burgers and fries. Very tender and juicy. No need to add ketchup or mustard unless you want to cover the amazing flavor of the meat. Coming from California, I was surprised to pay less than $ 20 for a gourmet burger and beer.

After a hike and climb at Bandelier National Park on the way to Bradbury Museum stop at this friendly and delicious restaurant with quite ample portions coming with a side of soup, salad or fries. So happy when they welcomed us 5 minutes to the end of lunch service. Great selections.

The chips, salsa and guac is highly recommended! The enchiladas, the salmon salad, the steak, the burger are all excellent as well. If you couldn’t tell we’ve definitely been back

Great experience. Surf and turf tacos were very tasty. Everyone in our large group enjoyed their meal and service was very good. One of the better casual meals you can find in the Santa Fe area and definitely the best we have had in Los Alamos.

Great food(really), but I want to commend their service and team even more. Our party of 14(!) spontaneously and ravenously dropped in on them five minutes before they closed. Totally unintentional move on our part. They graciously agreed to seat us! Who does that?! They do! And they continued to be that gracious and nice the entire time we ate. Do I need to say more? Thank you, Blue Window Bistro!

In Los. Alamos on vacation and found this bistro. Great ambiance — casual and comfortable. Outdoor dining. Had the surf and turf tacos. Quite good.

Delicious dinner started with beer and cheese soup, followed by salmon cooked on a cedar plank with serrano marmalade and chicken florentine pasta. The other thing I appreciate a lot about Bistro is that every time I come here, I know that I will have delicious food in a good atmosphere.

Food is decent, but service can be absolutely terrible. Recent example being when I stopped by after work. I did not have a reservation, but was willing to wait for a table. After 15 minutes, a table opened up and the hostess completely ignored any list she maintained on who was queued. She just sat the last person to walk in the door without a reservation, and the rest of us waiting were left in the cold. When I complained, she acted clueless to the problem, and said I would have to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for a table.

Cozy place but quite pricey for average food. My wife ordered the 8 Oz. Fillet Mignon — was just«ok» for $ 28. I ordered the Pork sirloin that was completely out of seasoning. Also we ordered two Caesar’s salads that the waiter completely forgot.(He apologized several times but this is a mistake that can’t happen). Best was my daughters chicken fingers with fries and free ball of vanilla ice cream! Los Alamos is a nice tow but needs more restaurants.

Coffee is great, grilled chicken croissant is delish. I got the side salad as the side basic field greens. I’m happy with my meal.

Kleines aber feines Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten Speisen und Service. Wir hatten das Southwest Chicken sowie das Tagesangebot Pork Osso Bucco. Beides sehr lecker und toll angerichtet.
