I went to this place a few months ago after hearing about it from a friend who lives nearby. It is amazing to me that this type of honor system self-service farmstand exists here in Silicon Valley! Selection is limited, so it is definitely not a one-stop shop for produce, and prices for produce are higher than at Milk Pail and similar markets, but it is a fun experience to pick your own flowers(pricing on flowers is a better deal than on produce) and experience this neighborhood gem!

Came across this place on a bike ride. What a great spot to get fresh produce! The man who runs the place is very friendly, and was happy to tell me about everything. It’s an honor role system, so just pick out what you’d like, bag it, and make a donation. Be sure to stroll on up to the end of the cul-de-sac, and walk the short path to see the rest of the farm. It’s pretty cool.

Fabulous little roadside veggie market that is open when the tomatoes are being harvested. Also plenty of squash and peppers, too. Pick up a few zinnias to grace your table, too. Simply weigh your produce, log it in the book and insert your cash into the lock box. Tomatoes are better than the local farmer’s markets. Thanks, Craig!

Went here once a few years ago and it was AMAZING. Tried to go back a few weeks ago and I’m just not sure if they are still running the place. It was completely deserted.

The Garden is a great little farm stand just steps from my front door. Produce is available seasonally, and customers are welcome to help themselves, paying for their selections on the honor system. Just next to the farm stand is a beautiful flower garden where customers are welcome to cut their own flowers for 35 cents a stem. We’ve gotten tomatoes, jalapenos and peppers here and they’re always fresh and delicious. It’s so nice to have a farm stand right out our front door to run to if we’re in a pinch and need that one last ingredient, or if we want to throw together a salad or a killer salsa.

This place is a real through back. Very local, I assume organic, and who would have imagined an honor bar in 2010! He’s modernized in this past year and you can no longer make change… so, bring your coins. Great tomatoes & other veg, nice neighbors wandering about, and talk about local! You’re shopping adjacent to one of his gardens, and just down the street from more of the land. And the prices are a bit below market, usually. We like to cut our own flowers, which make the most gorgeous bouquets. Last year the tomatoes were very late, but that’s what happens in nature.(There’s always Costco for those periods.) Check it out and tell your friends.
