i have known laurel for over 15 years and i know that furniture sometimes takes over a year to order from a factory, she is loyal, not pushy so anita you had a problem not
laurel she is still great solo.

It took over a year but they gave me a credit for the chair mishap. Even so, the couch situation was unpleasant. I feel now that the best way to obtain furniture is to work with a dedicated interior designer.

Experience here depends on connecting with a designer there who understands what you are looking for. So for example they have a ton of french country which we don’t particularly like, but we have had great success finding more interesting mid-​century modern types of things with D&I. They have an interesting selection on the floor and a ton of catalogs as well. We got several pieces including our dining room table at their annual warehouse sale years ago (70% off discounts to clear inventory in their warehouse around Mother’s Day each year — a must), and have worked with them since. They also work with brands on custom orders, which we needed for a media center in our living room. The designers will also come to your home for consults, and they have great connections to other vendors (drapes, etc).
