Jeff Machado Elegant Cuisine

Just had EC at an employee appreciation luncheon — it was great! Staff working the buffet line were very nice, salads were tasty and fresh, pulled pork was perfect, strawberries were sweet and Valhrona brownies were decadent!

I had the pleasure of attending the 40^th class reunion of a local high school. Jeff Machado catered. I have attended numerous catered events and I must say that Jeff’s food and and service ranks among the absolute best. The stations were beautiful and impeccably maintained. The paella was as good as any I ever ate in Spain… succulent actually. The two pasta dishes at the Italian station were exquisite. The butternut squash ravioli were outstanding… just natural sweetness. The passed appetizers were unique and scrumptious… I could so easily have made a meal of just those.
The wine and beer bar was also outstanding… his method of delivery provided ice cold beer in pilsner glasses… festive and delicious. The bar snacks were also quite outstanding. I don’t know what he did to his almonds, but they were irresistible and unique.
The dessert table was magnificent… like a wedding reception in France… an amazing assortment of tiny delicate pastries. The accompaniment of French hot chocolate was absolutely the living end.
Mr. Machado’s servers were elegant and attentive. The venue was kept sparkling clean throughout the evening.
