This spa isn’t one of those places where they employ a barrage of asian masseuses who are here with work visas. Each therapist they employ has to be a CMT with license in hand and has to have over 400 hours of experience. A big plus was that Oasis is conveniently located close to where I live. I walked in without and appointment and was immediately seen by Julie who sat at the front desk. I chose the Foot Reflexology as the basis not knowing what to expect. The usual price is $ 40 one hour but I got the CL price for Grand Opening at $ 28 before tip. The lobby was simple: A desk with computer, a plant in the corner, two sofa style chairs, and a framed Certified Massage Therapist diploma hanging in the back wall. She did the regular feet soaking in hot water for 5 – 8 minutes before commencing the foot massage. She practiced cleanliness and used fresh towels while massaging my feet strong and with good pressure. She was concerned and asked periodically if the pressure was too hard, but I welcomed the pressure since those cheap recliner massage spas never do it for me. You can tell her hands were strong but gentle from. I was surprised she spent an even amount of time on each foot applying several different techniques. My feet felt refreshed and muscles not as sore anymore. She was genuinely really into her profession. We had good conversation and time flew by fast. Before I knew it, 1 hour passed by. As a previous small business owner myself, we spoke about advertising in local newspapers and I emphasized using Unilocal. Overall, I would definitely recommend Julie’s services and will be back to experience more in the future. They offer packages but you can inquire about them when you call to make an appointment.
