Pella Window & Door Showroom – Los Altos

Don’t waste your time here. The WORST experience ever. They just don’t care about customer service. You will talk with people all over the country when dealing with issues and have to explain it over and over again. Badly managed, bad follow thru, bad communication. I own my own business and if I ran it like they do, I’d be gone and broke. A project that was supposed to take a few days to install 7 windows and doors took over 4 months to complete. The best (NOT) part was when one of the installers walked right through our brand new screen door and destroyed it while I stood there and watched. He thought it was funny. Terrible management.

tacky frame but nice window. No respect for your time as they were an hour late and said they would take four hours but took seven. Would never use them again!

I had a very informative and helpful conversation with sasha – even though i am only replacing one exterior door she gave me the time and consideration of a large project
Not sure if the time is right for my install but when I’m ready i will go with the pella Los altos store

We had a very positive experience. After perusing the showroom here, we made an appointment to have someone come out to our home to provide an estimate of an entry door.
Someone from the Pella sales office in Berkeley called us promptly to schedule an appointment based on our convenience.
Then the sales rep himself called to confirm and reconfirm prior to his visit to our house. At this point we felt confident someone planned to come out.
Once at our house, we selected a couple of doors from the Pella catalog, and he plugged in our requirements on his laptop. His software provided us an immediate quote, and we placed our order right then and there. We received a copy of our sales contract from his portable printer.
The entire transaction was very smooth and painless.

I’ve had no luck getting a new patio door quote from these guys, even after visiting the store and two follow-​up calls over four weeks. You’d think in these tough economic times they would be working harder for a sale.
I’ve read, although I can’t confirm, that they aren’t actually the same company as the manufacturer– they are just another reseller that licensed the use of the Pella name. Considering I can get a quote at Lowes in 5 minutes, I just can’t see any reason to deal with these guys any further.
Your mileage may vary, but why bother?
