Steve Virga Window Washing

Steve not only did a professional and thorough job but he decided to re-​do an extra window. My son’s place is a modern loft with 2 story high windows that need extra long ladder — but Steve seems to have a solution for everything. And, his professionalism combined with his artistic talent is fabulous. He gave me a couple of decorating ideas as well.
Get him. He is a star!!!

FIRST AND FOREMOST:
I expect a good job. That’s non-​negotiable. If he didn’t at least do competent work I wouldn’t bother writing this at all.
THAT SAID:
My house is a two-​story Craftsman with lots of little windows, difficult angles, a steep roof line and dangerous gables. It’s a window-washer’s nightmare. I’ve seen them turn on their heels and walk without even bothering to do an estimate.
AND IN SPITE OF THAT:
He took the job and treated every pane with the same careful attention. He didn’t miss one little dirty, grimy, spider-​webby corner. Afterward, every window shined. Even the frames were carefully cleaned inside and out.
BETTER STILL:
He worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. More than once he cheerfully and politely demurred when we offered drinks or snacks. He just got to work, then worked and worked until the job was done.
IN FACT:
On inspection, after hours of work, he was dissatisfied — HE was dissatisfied — with a couple tiny little insignificant places way up on the second story. He was absolutely ready to reassemble his ladder. Ultimately he insisted that next time he’d comp us an hour.
AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME:
He’s friendly, efficient, highly-​detailed, completely professional. And, reasonably priced. What else can you ask for?
