Velina helped me plan a special birthday party and then back again for a bridal shower. She not only has a super creative mind but she’s extremely professional and fun to work with. She has a talent for design with extremely clean execution! Her attention to detail and really listening to my needs and vision came to life more than we could imaging. She truly is the best! I’m looking forward to using her and her talent more in the future for bigger events!

I chose Taneva to work with for planning and designing my wedding and I’m so thankful I did. She handmade all of my invitations, designed my center pieces, décor, and floral. She’s listened to my ideas and really got to know my style and how to bring my vision to life. My wedding also had an added cultural component to it as my husband and I decided to do a traditional Iranian wedding ceremony. Velina learned about my culture and traditions and beautifully designed and created my sofreh and all its components from scratch.
She was really easy to communicate with, always available by phone, email, text – I appreciated that so much. She made the process of planning and executing a 150 person wedding a fun and stress free process. An added bonus was that she really respected my budget and always kept that top of mind!

My wife and I were so happy with Taneva Events, I have to spread the word about her services! We wanted a simple but elegant wedding in Hawaii and Velina at Taneva Events provided that and more for us. She worked with us on everything from the smallest detail on the dinner napkins to working with vendors on logistical details, setup on the day of the wedding and ensuring our day was perfect. My wife and I did not have a clear idea of what we wanted to do for our wedding besides the fact that we wanted to keep it simple and take advantage of the natural beauty of the setting. Velina was really helpful from the start, brainstorming ideas with us, and making suggestions for the décor that we would have never thought of on our won. We did not want traditional flower centerpieces, and Velina was able to accommodate us by creating beautiful pineapple centerpieces, and tied them all together with the runner, candles, handmade napkins, and pedestals that she placed the pineapples on. Everybody complemented the décor and the flower bouquet that she created for my wife from traditional Hawaiian flowers. We could not have had such a beautiful and smooth day without Velina’s help. Planning for a wedding is always stressful, but Velina eased a lot of our stress and was always a pleasure to work with.

Taneva Events provided me with an amazing party that was completely catered to my interests, passions, and taste! Velina does an amazing job really understanding her clients and providing them with an event that is customized to the person. She is incredibly talented and pays a lot of attention to small details that pay off in the entirety of the events she plans. Had the rustic wedding of my dreams in June of 2014 thanks to Velina from Taneva Events. She was so easy to work with and her team was very efficient and professional. Velina is amazingly talented at creating beautiful events. She planned, organized, shopped and created the most memorable birthday party I have ever had! She has an incredible ability to choose colors, themes and all of the coordinating pieces to make a party look professionally put together. All I had to do was show up!
