OMG! I just love this store, especially their collection of merchandise.

I have been to all of the other Village Stationer’s and while the inventory can be good, the staff is usually not… this location, however, was fabulous both in inventory and staff! First the selection is great… lots of unique little gifts, giftwrap items, stationary, and pens and pencils. During the holidays, there is a great selection of items as well. Unlike the Menlo Park store that always has boxes lining the aisles, this store was clean and well organized. Lastly, the staff was wonderful. They actually smile, are very friendly, and helpful. This is such a difference from locations such as Menlo Park where the older women there are all so rude and seemingly unhappy to be working. I highly recommend this store for any stationary and small gift needs!

I try to support the small stores downtown. I recently bought a backpack here at Village Stationers, and was not told that anything and everything on sale is final sale. I bought it not knowing if my son would like it, and brought it home to find out. 2 days later I tried to return it and found out, very nicely that it was a final sale. Completely bummed as I spent $ 60. Moral of the story… give up on supporting the downtown stores. Department stores have better service and you can return items with tags on it. I could have gone to many retailers and bought the same Jansport back pack, and returned in a timely manner and received my cash back. If you need a card… maybe, but Walgreens is right around the corner.

This store reminds me going to Hallmark. They have lots of stationary, stickers, gift bags, seasonal gifts, greeting cards, and toys. The staff was friendly when I went there. They helped me pick out some gifts for a 1 year old, three year old and 7 year old, who were coming to visit me. I really appreciated the help. I think the prices are comparable to a Hallmark store. The selection is good. There are handmade cards as well as a normal selection.

I not really a stationary store type of guy but I stopped in the other day after eating lunch to get a new work journal. What a great surprise. They carry some high quality stuff that is perfect for my office. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They even gave me a catalog to show me all the stuff I could order for my office, which was a huge help to me. New desk for me! Nice find!

I usually love Village Stationers, but when I wandered in today and was asked if I needed any assistance, I honestly answered that I was just killing a few minutes looking around. The muttered«of course» one employee mumbled to another probably thinking I didn’t hear them just ensured that I wont be back.

i’m very happy that they’ve opened up another village stationers, one that is much closer to where i live. opening week was quite busy as many customers and locals stopped in to peruse the offerings at this new local retailer. this location is pretty big and carries the usual array of stationery, greeting cards, office supplies, and children’s toys. the staff here are very friendly and always offer to help. they do close a bit on the early side though, 6pm on most days.

I have had great experiences in the other locations of Village Stationers and this new location is no exception! Love the closer location to where I live and the people there are very helpful, but not pushy. Atmosphere is nice and I was greeted right away by the girls at the counter. Took a few moments to browse and then was on my way. This place is great!

Walked into the brand spanking new store today and was brought back in time to the traditional home town stationery store! We were greeted by the owner/manager Shannon who made us feel very comfortable and welcomed in her store. Shannon was very personable and friendly and then left us alone to browse. She didn’t breathe down our backs with our every move like the jewelry store a few doors down did! There is an open spacious floor plan. Eveything is light & bright. There was even classical music playing in the background. My thought when I heard of the store’s opening today was to check it out by walking around and then leaving with a greeting card or two for the next most nearest family occasions. Instead we walked out with a Jansten Backpack, a Ty Giraffe, Crazy Glue, a box of envelopes and two greeting cards! This place has a HUGE variety of greeting cards! For example they have 8 different 80th birthday cards! What store that you know of has 8 different 80th birthday cards. I know I haven’t found one, last month we needed to buy an 80th birthday card and the one or two that we found in an abundance of stores didn’t compare with the amazing variety color and life that these cards had. Thanks for the great experience today Village Stationers!
