Came with E. Berry to help bring in his Moms birthday. Dope night #70sNight #Old Skool. Drinks are a lil pricy. $ 16 a pop.. Thank You but No Thank You. I’d rather get drunk before entering before I pay those ridiculous prices. Just sayin.

I had never heard of this club before this visit but now I will never forget it. This is the story of «How to Lose Your Man in 1 Night.» I arrived with my boyfriend of 2 months around 11 p.m. on a Saturday for the closing night of Masterbeat’s New Year’s Event 2016. 333 was conveniently located in a corner, across from an independently owned parking lot that only charged $ 5. Nevermind that the tix to get in the door was $ 90. For that price, the club was crummy looking, like it hadn’t had a makeover since the 90’s. It was a decent size, 2 floors, plenty of places to sit. The night started out fine, we bought drinks, danced. Then Yours Truly told me around 11:30 p.m. he wanted to sit down a bit, and he’ll be right back. At around midnight, I ran into some friends by chance. We meeted, greeted, and bounced to the beat. DJ duo Rosabel rocked the club. The lights were hypnotic, the music was unstoppable, the party never paused. My guy on the other hand had vanished into thin air. Didn’t answer calls or texts. Security at this venue were more than helpful, checking every floor and restroom with me after closing to make sure he wasn’t knocked out somewhere. Two days later, I receive a breakup text from Prince Charming with no explanation. I guess 333 Live was that fun, or that awful. I’m not sure which one led to this mysterious fallout. As for me, I had a great night despite the strange turn of events. This venue is not the fanciest, but it’s worth a trip depending on the DJ. Just hang on tight to your man or lady lest they vanish into that black hole…

This place is run down and a joke. Close this place down now please. Where do I begin: parking is terrible, because they over charge you for parking or you can look for street parking but you run a risk of getting car jacked in dim places or get mobbed. The entrance staff are rude and they searched u like u are coming in to prison, with the butt crack check. The staff wont be able to scan or find your ticket purchase in their tiny valet style podium, so tacky. The entrance looks like your going to a sex den, you feel so dirty. The stage is so tiny, looks like only a stairway step. Whoever said dancefloor was huge must be smoking crack, lived in a hole or both. The drinks, omg, the drinks are overpriced and watered down. There you go, have my honest opinion.

This place is a piece of shit, I am so pissed I could scream. Parking terrible, they did not know what they hell they were doing. Stood in line for over an hour, feet was killing me. Security looked like straight up hard core criminals. the inside of the place looks like and old ran down abandoned warehouse and it was cold as hell. Not one ounce of class about this venue. NOTHING!!! I did not want anything to drink there, everything looked dirty. My man Lyfe was good tho for 20 minutes. It was approaching 0100 and I could not wait for 112 and I love them! but I was feezing. I will never in life go there again, Im not desparate to just get out and hang out at da club. Nope, has to be a little more classier than that. 333 jive desearve a zero and should be closed by the Health inspectors, it is not suitable to serve the public. You live and you learn. Dam!!!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I paid $ 55 to see my favorite R&B group 112. It’s 1:23 am and they still aren’t on stage. They made us wait in line outside in the cold for 30 minutes, only to herd us into a big room and shuffle slowly as a group to the main event space. There was absolutely no organization at all. Then we got to the bar and there was two bartenders and it was cash only. The two ATM machines were offline and didn’t work, so we could only afford one drink each at $ 15 for a shot of Patron. The whole experience was horrible! I stayed only to see 112.

This place is a joke and the promoters are useless! Selling tickets off multiple sites stating VIP, general admission, upper lever and lower level is a bunch of bull shit! Tickets said 8pm. Line started outside the building and wrapped around the corner! You let people inside to get hem out of the cold not only to wait in so called«waiting room» and say you will let people in the main room in an hour which has not happened yet! Ya’ll are a shame and should refund all tickets!

Business oversells events and makes people wait in line for hours to an event in which tickets were prepaid. 112 concert is a bust and the owner of this venue is a crook. Do not spend your time or money here!

This place is great for concert venues. The security and employees I had a chance to talk to were very nice. The bathrooms are spacious and they have large sofas to sit down on in case you get tired of standing. There’s parking across the street for $ 5, the venue charges $ 10 to park next door. The only negative I can give this place is the overpriced drink selection, that was biggest complaint.

In my one and only experience visiting this establishment, there was an overwhelming complete lack of organization along with who I am assuming was the owner, trying to put the $ 5.00 cost of a 12oz bottle of water on the electric bill. I wonder how liquor stores manage to sell their bottled water for mmm, $.99 while running their electricity 24⁄7 too… I don’t think this place deserves even the 1 star I had to choose to write this.

An interesting location, let’s start there. Not sure if all my observations are due to the special event I attended, but here goes. I went upstairs in order to go downstairs to the main floor. The main area seems laid out well with a decorated, industrial feel to it. A long bar stretches along the far wall. Waited while several acts went through sound checks. There is an annoyingly excessive amount of echo. Maybe the main show is typically DJ driven, and not with live bands? Went to the bar. Service was very slow. I was second in line, and it took me almost ten minutes to get a beer. Bottled water for $ 5!!, my beer was $ 6. After the act that I went to see came off stage, they were aggravated that the house monitors weren’t working. Nope.

That place was literally one of the worst venues I’ve ever been to. No coat check, 3 terrible bartenders for 300 people so the line for the bar was 30+ minutes all night long. It was bright as hell downstairs, smokey as hell upstairs, and the overall vibe was that of a skeevy swingers club for the low rent baby boomer crowd. On top of all that they have a $ 35 minimum charge for credit cards, $ 4 atm fees, and then they have the audacity to have a sign at the bar that says«no free cups of water, don’t ask». Won’t be going back, ever.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Terrible club, terrible crowd, terrible sound system, MASSIVELY overpriced drinks. They promoted the night I went as being a T-Pain show, but T-Pain never showed up, and guess what? No refunds! $ 25 out the window just for the ticket. The people who did perform were all awful; the DJs just seemed to turn on Power 106 and leave the booth, and the«rappers» straight up sucked. The sound system in this place was so bad that you couldn’t understand a word that the rappers were saying, not that I would want to understand, and mic feedback was a constant throughout the night. The drinks were served in small plastic cups, very little liquor. $ 14.50 for a vodka/Rockstar(no Red Bull at this establishment!), $ 5 for a bottle of water, no cups of water were allowed to be given out by the bartenders(pretty sure that’s illegal). Bar is cash only, not that I’d want to give my credit card number to this place. In a sketchy part of town, rude service, terrible atmosphere, and the promoters straight-up LIED about who was performing. Momma always said not to say anything if I don’t have anything nice to say, so I guess I’ll end with a positive. Very nice bathrooms, 333 Live. Too bad the rest of the club was worse than the shit I took in there.

This is a review for the venue itself and the Neon Paint Party Tour hosted here:) I love the downtown landscape from the smoking balcony. It’s just a bunch of bank buildings but it makes everything seem so surreal. Everything seems so small in the grand scheme of things. Parking I think is usually 8 dollars across the street but the day I went they jacked up the prices to 10 which is still decently priced for DTLA. I was told that there were 3 rooms but seeing as I didn’t explore all too much I only found the main room and a side room connected to the balcony. Supposedly wherever the 3rd room was there’s 3 types of music playing each from a different dj. The place was packed! And the goopy paint made walking up and down the stairs a slip and slide LOL! I may have fallen a couple times myself ;] For the setup and everything I initially thought it was going to be a crapshoot. The first 2 – 3 hours was such ehh music. They need to find new filler djs. After the awkward couple hours though things started to get kicking. Music picked up and people were filling the main dance floor. Highlight of the night was the last hour. I’ve never heard of him but DJBRKLYN is f — ing awesome. They really knew how to get a crowd going. A great variety of music from yesteryear and current songs. The entire venue were singing along and when you got them as loud as the speakers themselves, god that’s when you know you’re doing it right. I’m just a bit sad that they had to end it. Would’ve been awesome if they were the DJ for the entire night.

What an amazing venue for a show! I came here the other week to ring in the Year of the Ram with some excellent music and an all star cast; parking was simple and the dance floor had room to shake your money maker, plus with two stories and a side dance room you can entertain multiple kinds of music within the same event. The only portion that was packed was the outside patio, but that’s just because of the amazing Dim Sum being served outside. A few things to note — the bar is cash only, but there’s an ATM on site; no sweats, no flip flops and no white tees.

This venue is located in a very strange part of Downtown LA it feels like its hidden in the corner almost so it’s very difficult to find. Parking here is pretty much a nightmare more so than other parts or LA and what is making it even worse is the staff at this club, they had the spots along the street next to the club coned off and were wanting to charge patrons $ 100 to park on the public street that’s not only messed up but it’s illegal! They did offer an alternative to that where you can park in their lot for $ 8 not sure if that’s a steady price or what but the good side to that is their parking lot has a really incredible view of downtown! My advice is to seek out a street parking place there were plenty across the street next to the fountain! On this given night we came here it was completely dead I’m pretty sure that the answer to that was that this place doesn’t usually have SKA shows and didn’t really care to promote the event. By them not promoting it was kinda a good thing because no one wants to come to a club where the sound is mediocre and you can hear the PA popping! Their bar is a joke they wanted to charge $ 12 for a 12oz beer that’s absurd and made me laugh enough that I told the bartender your not Honda Center people won’t pay that much for sooo little booze they could have cared less with what I had to say. The security here was a bit obsessive and kinda hostile to all of us it felt like we were getting checked by the TSA when we brought our gear in kinda made me laugh because I’ve never seen them take cymbals out of a cymbal bag and check them I don’t know if they were looking for cracks or what but either way it was annoying having to do that on a sidewalk. Another thing with their security is that they must have been bored throughout the night as they came over to me and wanted to see my id after I had already showed them at load in and I had been in the club for over an hour. My friend laughed and said no you can’t see it so they ushered him out quickly neither of us cared because our friends had already played and this club is a joke anyway! Overall I’d never play here book an event here or come here again with how shady this place is run they have some serious issues that need to be addressed if this business wants to survive.

Came here to see Beenzino for his«Up All Night» Concert back in December. Loved Beenzino, hated the venue. Poor quality sound system and apparently nobody here knows how to run a club/actually let people in. Arrived at 9:45pm, line didn’t even start moving until right before midnight. Seriously. Also, drinks here are ridiculously priced for smaller-than-normal sizes. Like the spacious, open layout, but not enough to redeem the other negatives or to come back here. Peace, 333 Live.

Salsa concert was fabulous!!! The band was jamming & the sound pumped the entire crowd!!! Drinks where small & no coat closet Those are the only two negative… I could think off… The dancing was great on spacious floor and security was good. I would go back :) just depends on the promoter and what type of event you are going there for… :)

The Club Event«Perversion» Is What makes This Random Venue Worthwhile SITREP I have thoroughly enjoyed the Club Event PERVERSION for a number of years at a series of different venues, and though without a doubt I will continue to follow DJs Amanda Jones and Bruce Perdew’s awesome musical & dance experiences they create, I can say without question this is my LEAST favorite venue where I’ve hit Perversion. THESYNERGYOFDANCE&MUSIC&LOCATION It’s difficult to promote and host club-events — this I know — and often at times you find yourself just being grateful that you are able to secure a venue. Period. I’ve been going to this event since 1999 when it was on Hollywood Boulevard. There was a stint at Vertigo. Then I caught it off of Ivar. Now I’m catching it here. I’m not a fan of the room configurations because they seem awkward and it doesn’t feel well laid out for DANCING, which is the main reason I come to clubs in the first place. OUTSIDEPATIO Now, what redeems this place is the fact that it has a very nice outside 2nd Floor patio overlooking the streets where you can relax, chat, smoke, and get away from the decibelage of loud pounding music if you need that break. In fact, I’d say that if I WAS a smoker and a constant chatter & socializer(but I’m not, FYI), I’d probably give this venue 4-Stars — so there’s that for more complete disclosure of where I’m coming from. AMBIANCE&MOOD So what I experience at this venue is ENTIRELY because of the DJ talents of Amanda and Bruce. THEY are the ones that create a most transcendent«Twilight Heaven» I experience. NOTTHISVENUE. THELOWDOWN So while Perversion remains for me one of the longest running club-events I continue to enjoy, I will only patronize THISVENUE as long as Perversion is here.
