4th Wall Photography

I haven’t quite seen the touched results yet, but I went to Rollence on Saturday, but he was wonderful to work with. I’m not terribly comfortable in front of the camera yet — I feel very awkward in general, but he made me feel great with his positive energy and encouragement. He was able to bring out the best in me in front of the lens. I felt safe despite being in a strange neighborhood — strange to me, anyway. Rollence was able to set up a scene in your mind in a way that it could come out in the head shot. I assume that, because he has been/​is an actor, he knows how we all feel with that lens staring at us. He also does great work with photography in general, as you will see from his website. He has an exceptional eye for color and framing.
Rollence also brought in a great hair and makeup artist that was able to create the «better version of yourself» look perfectly. I’m a decent hand with hair and makeup, but I thought it was a good idea, for once, to let someone else do it – in case I messed up. I’m so thankful that I did. The personality she had put me at ease, which is pretty important when someone is wielding an eyelash curler. I suggest doing the same when the option is given to get a hair and makeup artist to help you with your look.
I’ve received nothing but compliments on my headshots. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend going here. For those who might be new to LA — it’s also very easy to get to since it’s right off the 101. Rollence rocks!!!

Three photos from 4^th Wall adorn the walls of our home, and we could not be more pleased. The photographs are not only technically brilliant (especially in his use of color), but are also highly evocative and draw the viewer into the inner drama of the composition. I often find myself reflecting on the «story» behind one of the photos, created by a look of a subject, the posture of another. These photographs are definitely conversation pieces.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photographer! I’ve been in the industry for awhile now, and 4^th Wall is by far the best photography place I’ve shot with in LA. The headshots I’ve taken here always get great feedback from my agent and strangers… even the printer wanted the photographer’s info!:) I’ve also worked with the photographer Rollence for many modelling shoots, and he is always professional, fun and makes me feel very safe. As a female, it’s hard to know who you can and can’t trust with photographers in this town so I am so grateful to have found someone I not only trust but absolutely ADORE his work. My shots, as well as other works I’ve seen from 4^th Wall, are always creative and unique. I’ve referred many people to this place and every single one has come back and said, «I love Rollence!» He works hard, caters to each client in every detail and is just a genuinely wonderful person… all of which is captured in his photography. I highly recommend shooting headshots, portfolio, merchandise, any life moment, really, lol, with 4^th Wall!
