An old-​school taco truck that serves tasty food at a great value. They have a range of typical items (including tacos, tortas, burritos with all the standard meat options). They can do vegetarian, with or without a fried egg, for tacos, burritos, or tortas. They also have seafood options and clayudas (giant mexican pizza-​like things). Also good red and green salsas and roasted or pickled jalapenos. I have been going here for a couple years now at least once a week (it’s right by my work). It’s owned by a lovely couple.
To me, the vegetarian burrito is one of the best values I have ever had, anywhere. Here’s mainly what I care about: It’s big, they use fresh vegetables, it tastes good, seems pretty healthy, and runs about $ 3 – 3.50 (50 cents more with a fried egg which I highly recommend). Comes with beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, avocado, and cilantro. I’m not sayin it competes with some of the big boys (like Leo or Chato), but it’s solid. My coworkers usually get chicken or asada tacos which they will wrap up and include sides and avocado. Love this place!
