Aladdin Bookstore

I wish I can give –50 stars to this nasty place.
I am such a book worm and I have been buying Korean books from the Aladdinus online store and the Fullerton location for years. I always had good experience with the Aladdin Fullerton. Since I moved to the LA County area and I needed books, this place was a must check-​out place for me.
I couldn’t find a book I wanted from the shelves, so I wanted to ask the clerk.
This one ugly Korean girl in the counter was busy doing something more important than assisting a customer. Fine, I waited.2.3.4.maybe 5 minutes. Finally she decided to stop with the Facebook or whatever she was doing with the tiny screen. She was starring at me instead of asking me what I needed. She said they didn’t have it. (Didn’t even try to sell products by suggesting more options: reserve etc.) I said look it up online/​database, I will reserve, pre-​pay and pick it up. Throwing me the receipt silently, after I paid. She didn’t give me any information on when it was expected to arrive. what to bring (recepit/​check) etc. I tried to confirm on this and she was getting mad (She had a mad face from the begining though). An oler Korean woman sitting next to her wasn’t any different. I saw this pokerfaced woman yelling «Hey, ajumma!» to another customer. This is not it. I am just making a long story short. I am done with this magically nasty Aladdin place with rude female Genies.
Summary: no greetings, no appreciation for purchase, no proper assistance, not trying to sell books, no knowledge about books in general, yelling «ajumma!» to mid-​age female customers, no confirmation provided for pre-​paid pick-​up orders, no phone call after pre-​paid books arrive
Aladdin LA Olympic never again.
